It Started With A Wave

I woke up next to Janine and laughed remembering the night before. I checked my phone to see the time.

7:07am

Huh and I thought I woke up earlier. I removed Janine's head from my shoulder and went to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. I heard a loud noise and jerked forward and hit my head on the counter. I stood up and turned around. I saw Uriah with his hair all messy and his eyes still a bit pink.

"Morning." I chirped.

"Stop yelling." Uriah said rubbing his eyes.

"You sound like youre hungover."

"Maybe I am."

"Well youre not so shut it. Anyways what do you want for breakfast before we go to school?"

"Ham and cheese omelet?"

"Ok, sit." I said pointing at the marble counter chairs. Our marble counter was designed like a bar with bar stools.

"You know this is a really good omelet."

After a few minutes, Ethan and Janine had already gotten up and joined us for breakfast.

"You know its like 7:15 already we should start getting ready."

"Mhmm." Uriah replied before finishing his omelet.

"Ethan you go use dad's shower so Uriah can use yours," Uriah stuck is tongue out at Ethan who in reply rolled his eyes,"and Janine you can use the guest room's shower. After I eat Ill give you your clothes." I said finishing my ice tea.

"Yes ma'am." They all replied in unison.

"Uriah heads up!" I threw Uriah his set of clothes from underwear to tshirts.

"Hey thanks uhm are you busy tomorrow?"

"Nope actually pretty free why?"

"You wanna hang out tomorrow like uhm just the two of us maybe?"

"Yeah ok sure. Where to?"

"I uhm heard the amusement park is open again."

"Ok amusement park it is."

Uriah left to shower and I was left to do the same. I took a quick shower and threw on a gray hoodie that read 'weirdo' and some black skinny jeans with white converse.

I went to the garage to check on my white porsche but sadly we cant fit in there so I went to my matte black mini cooper.

"Oh Elea youre driving today?"

"Haha why not Ethan."

I grabbed my keys from the drawer and started the car with Ethan and Uriah in the back and Janine at shotgun.

7:39am

I exited our 9 car garage and was on the way to school when a very beautiful Starbucks came into view.

"Whos up for Starbucks?"

"Me!" My passengers said in unison. I laughed and went through Starbucks' drive thru.

"One chocolate cream venti, one chocolate chip cream venti, one strawbery cream venti and one vanilla cream venti."

"Ok ma'am that would be 18 dollars."

I gave her the money and went to the next window to claim our orders when I see a familiar face.

"Malory?" The person on the other side of the window turned around.

"Eleanor? Oh what a pleasure to see you here!"

"Same to you. Wait why are you here?"

"Oh I work here every now and then if I need extra cash. I was just on my way to school after this."

"Hey Ill wait for you out front and why dont you ride with us?"

"Oh sure sure." Malory gave us our drinks and dashed into the employee's lounge to sign out. After about a minute, she came dashing out again wearing something else and grabbing what seemed to be her drink.

"Hey thanks again for the ride."

"No problem." Malory was in the back squished next to Ethan and Uriah. Today is gonna be exciting.

"Uriah wait up!" He laughed and grabbed my arm.

"Cmon well miss it!"

Uriah and I hopped onto the train and found seats. Today is Saturday so it means its the day Uriah and I have out.

I stood up to offer my seat to an old lady and Uriah followed in suit for her husband so we grabbed the rail handle thingys. The train sped up a bit and cause me to slightly fall over Uriah.

I hit his chest and laughed. I looked up and he was laughing along with me while looking staright at me. I gazed into his eyes and they were full of happiness. I never realized how beautiful his eyes wait what?!

I blinked several times and looked out the window. Several minutes passed and it was our stop. Uriah offered me his hand off the train.

"So where is the entrance..." I looked around and spotted the entrance.

"Over here dummy." Its like deja vue except vice versa. I was pulling his arm.

We paid for our tickets and then ran inside. We went to the first rollercoaster. Then the next. Then ride came after ride until there was one ride left. The ferris wheel. Uriah and I were pretty exhausted so we both agreed.

"Hey the sun is pretty nice dont you think?" I glanced over Uriah's shoulder and caught a glimpse of the sun setting.

"Yeah."

"Its almost as pretty as you." He whispered.

"Huh what?" I faced Uriah and his eyes softened. His body tensed. His eyes were looking right through me. Our faces were suddenly so close. They were close enough for us to kiss.

"Ma'am the ride's over."

We snapped out of it then immediately got out. As we walked toward the train, it was silent. I wouldnt call it awkward though. We got on the first train back to West Shieffield.

"So uhm guess this is your stop huh?" I looked out Uriah's car and saw my house.

"Ugh yeah thanks for the ride." Uriah got out of the car and opened the door for me.

"Hey Im sorry about earlier. I never shouldve tried to uhm ki-" I stooped him by kissing his cheek.

"Hey its fine. It was just in the spur of the moment."

"Uhm yeah haha." He scratched the back of his head and smiled.

"Well see ya Monday."

I skipped to the door of my house and opened the door when my arm was pulled into a hug. It took me awhile but I hugged back. I rest my head on his chest and his heart beat was in sync with mine.

"Goodnight Eleanor."

"Goodnight Uriah."
