**Louis' P.O.V**

How am I going to tell her this? I want to take this chance but, I don't want to leave her because... I think I've fallen in love with her. She is looking up at me with those big, beautiful green eyes. I can tell she' s trying to figure out what I am going to say.

"What is it Lou?" She asks fidgiting.

"Well after a long deal of thinking.. I've decided I want to try out for X-Factor." I said worried how she would react.

"Oh my! I am so happy for you!" She exclaimed smiling.

"But that also means your leaving," She said. Smile turning into a frown. I feel so bad now but I need to do this and I know she knows that I need to. Should I tell her that I love her, too? No, I can't. Not when I am about to leave, that would just hurt her even more. And I mean what are the chances of her even liking me back, let alone loving me back?

"Ally? Alex? Say something please," I beg her.

"I'm just shocked that's all.. I'm happy for you.. I really am. It's just I'm just going to miss you alot, " She said with tears in her eyes. I hugged her tight. This feels right.. Holding her in my arms like this. She's an amazing girl with such a big heart. She doesn't deserve what is happening to her at home.

"I am going to miss you so much more," I whispered into her hair.

"Do you want to stay over tonight? You can tell your dad you have to work late or something. Please?" She works at a Starbucks in town. She wanted to work for a nice clothing store that paid better but they had no openings so she got stuck with Starbucks.

"It's not like it matters what I tell him anyways he has a girl over." She venomously spoke.

** Ally's P.O.V ***

Now that I know he is leaving me, I just noticed I might love him. I think I've loved him for a while but I just haven't realized it. I would say something but, I support him and I dont want him to change his mind.

"Lou, how long until you leave?" I wondered.

"I think 3 months and 2 weeks. Only if I make it that is," He answered truthfully.

"Oh Louis, Ally, mum wants to know if you want any cookies when they are done? " Lottie walked asking.

"Who doesn't want cookies," I responded smiling. Despite what I was just told and what I was feeling I don't want anyone thinking anything was wrong.

Louis agreed and she left to tell Jay. Louis told me that everything will be okay and when he gets home he will come and see me straight away. I just nodded.

"Lou, if the offer still stands I am going to go get some clothes from my house to stay over."

"Okay. Do you want me to go with you?'' He asked.

"No, because I don't know what he would do if he catches you.." I said a sickening feeling came over me just thinking of what my father could do to him.

"Okay.. Just be careful." He said slowly.

"Be right back Lou." I walk out the door and across the street. I start climbing up to my window. When I hear my dad laughing coming from my driveway, I look to my right and see that he is only a few yards away from me. Watching my every move and holding a knife.
