After managing to escape that he*l hole I ran into the woods. I didn't know if he was chasing me but he probably was. I couldn't let him catch me cos that would mean certain death, but I was exhausted from running.

I stopped to rest and expected him to come out of nowhere and kill me. A bush rustled so I kept my eyes trained on it, a drunken man came stumbling out of the bush. "'Ello lass. How *hic* are ye *hic* tonight?" He asked. I could tell from his accent that he was Scottish.

"I'm okay I guess." I replied. He kept advancing towards me so I backed away until I backed into something. I was afraid that it was Medic. I gulped and felt what it was, I mentally sighed in relief to find it was a tree.

I then sprinted away in a random direction with the drunken Scot pursuing me. I gulped when I found an all too familiar building. I was outside Medic's home. I had two options either 1: be eaten alive by Medic or 2: the Scot finds me and I have no idea what he would do to me.
I grunted and ran to certain death, I ran to Medic. I looked around frantically for the cannibal, I couldn't find him anywhere. I assumed he was out hunting me so I ran upstairs with the drunk Scot chasing me.

"Come on lassie. Demo won't hurt ye." He said in a slur. I didn't believe him so I ran into a room that I didn't recognize. I hid under the bed and kept as quiet as I could. I was then pulled out of my hiding place and pinned to the wall.

I gulped and quickly decided death from a cannibal was better than whatever this "Demo" had planned. "MEDIC HELP! PLEASE HELP ME! MEDIC!" I called as loudly as I could. I then heard footsteps sprinting to the room and Medic bursted in.

He looked at the situation I was in and his expression changed. It went from concerned to murderous. I gulped as he marched over to me and ripped the guy off me. He then stood in front of me, protecting me. "Stay avay from her you filthy schweinehund! Vhy don't you go back to Scotland before zis gets ugly." He growled angrily.

"Demo" ignored Medic's warning and made the mistake of reaching for me. Medic sprang on him and tore him to pieces in rage. He calmed down when his victim ceased to move, and breath. He then went back to me so I backed away fearfully.

"S- stay away! I- I mean it! S- stay back!" I stuttered scared out of my mind as Medic advanced towards me. He reached out so I tried to run but he gripped my wrist firmly, but gently. He then pulled me towards him until I crashed into his chest.

I whimpered and cried in terror. "P- please d- don't h- hurt m- me." I said terrified. Strangely he gently rubbed my back, was he trying to comfort me? "Shh shh shh. It's alright, it's alright. I vill not hurt you I promise. Please don't cry love." He said softly as he dried my tears.

I hid my face in his chest and gripped his shirt. Surprisingly he didn't object, instead he whispered soothing words in my ear. I eventually unburied my face from his chest and looked him in the eye. He smiled kindly at me "You came back." He said.

I gulped and whimpered fearfully. "It's alright love. I won't hurt you, I promise." He said reassuringly. He held me gently in a tender and loving hug. "I'm so happy you came back. I vanted to tell you zat I vas sorry for all zat I haff done to you. Can you forgive me?" He asked.

He sounded sad during his apology. Though I'm trained to know when people are lying, and when they're faking something. He wasn't faking his apology, he... He was being sincere. He was sorry for everything he did to me. But could I forgive him? He force fed me half my own liver and someone's lung.

I didn't even know if I could forgive him. Sure he saved my life but still, he tried to kill me so many times. "I- I." I began. "You don't forgive me do you?" He asked sadly. "I don't know if I can. Sure you saved me but you force fed me half my own liver and someone's lung, you tried to kill me several times. I just don't know if I can forgive you. I don't know if I can trust you. I only came back because death by you would've been better than what that " Demo" would've done to me." I said.
