Unknown Alleyway
11-20-15
11:20 PM"See that guy over there?" The world was dark and damp down here and I could feel the pressure closing in on me as Lay pressed his fingers in to my back. He was on the edge of my cuts and I pulled away in just enough time to avoid any further damage.
"Yeah," I whispered, glancing toward the dark shadow at the end of the alleyway, the right side illuminated by a half-dead streetlight.
"Give him this," he shoves a dark brown bag in to my stomach, causing a small gasp to slip from my mouth,"and would you shut the hell up?!"
"Okay, okay," I mumble and walk slowly down the alley, past weeks of old trash and restaurant rubble that had found its way to the middle of the street.
"Go get 'em tiger," I hear Yixing smirk through his words and I internally groan in response. I knew that the rest of the group was solemnly waiting for me to fuck this deal up so they had something on me, but I was determined to prove them wrong.
By the way he was standing and fiddling with whatever was in his hands, I presumed that our customer here was very eager.
"Hey," I called, barely enough for him to hear me and no one else to to question. He glanced in my direction just far enough for me to see numerous layers of clothing piled upon scarves and sweaters. The man looked like he was wearing an entire closet on his shoulders.
"Do you have my money?" I asked him, before handing over the bag. It was something I had been taught and was always protocol while working with B.
"Yeah man," he somehow managed to pull entire wads of cash from the pockets of one of the sweaters,"I have your money."
"Count."
I watch him flip through the bills like cards, counting and sorting through each one as he checked to the amount in his hands was enough for the product I had laying in my own. "Hey," I watch as his eyes squint, looking at me rather than what was in his hands,"you look familiar."
"I've been around," my attempts at trying to hide my face are long overlooked by the time he was recognizing who I was. "Now give me the fucking money."
"Here," his deep set eyes are questioning me as we exchange quickly, neither of our hands lingering any longer than the other. We said nothing and walked away from one another quickly and quietly as if nothing had ever happened.
The end of the alleyway that the rest of the group stood in was lighter than the other side but as I approached them, I noticed two of the four who had come with me were missing.
"Where is Kris and Z?" My voice had since died to a whisper and I saw a light smirk slip amongst the faces of the rest of them.
"Taking care of the rest," Xiumin laughed in a way I had yet to understand. Until now.
I had never heard a more terrifying sound in my entire life. It was like the scream had been directly in my ear even though I knew it had to be at least a few blocks away. It was one of those screams you hear in the movies right before the guy gets eaten by the monster or whatever, except times a thousand. This time, the guy wasn't an actor and this time he wasn't coming back.
"Let's go," black clothing flashes in front of my eyes, lightened by the streetlamp. We had to run or we wouldn't make it in enough time to avoid the fact that not only were we affiliated with illegal contraband but also a murder.
This was not what I signed up for.

1:30 AM"How the hell do I even look at them? There is still blood in their fucking clothes and they are all just sitting around like they are some kind of lords of the underworld or some shit." I was praying no one could hear my voice as I talked to Baek over the phone.
