I looked around the small clearing before going into the cabin, where Hanna's journal had been hidden. I knocked twice before entering and smiled seeing Severus by the window." Haylee, you know what must be done?"

" yes, but I'm scared Severus" I admitted and he turned before walking over and hugging me." this is the way it must be Haylee, but I want you to do something" he told me and I looked at him." have a family, grow old but live a life you want." He told me and I nodded" You are your mothers daughter. Brave, clever and a light in this dark world, Haylee but I can see now, you have your father in you, his smile"

" And his habit for trouble" I pointed out and he sighed before smiling" Sadly, that is true."

" Severus, I've changed what was meant to be" I told him and his eyes widened" I'm saving Fred, I made him promise me to stay away from the 7th floor. I love him Severus and even if it means that I could die, I don't care." I smiled before showing him the ring." I will be happy and I don't care what happens anymore"

He was about to say something but it was cut off as I let out a scream and fell to the floor. Harry had destroyed another one, he had found the diadem." I need to go" I told him and he nodded before giving me one last hug. I went back to the battle and ran to the 7th floor but stopped looking around, I spotted Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco and Goyle but that was when I heard it." You're joking, Perce" I spun around, walking turned into sprinting.

'Get to him' my mind screamed 'Save him'

I closed my eyes and cried out knocking them out of the way but I felt a heavy weight on top of me and when the dust cleared. Fred sat wide eyed a few feet away but alive, Percy right next to him. I coughed out a gasp and footsteps approached." Haylee" a voice cried and everything started to blur. I couldn't feel my legs but at the same time, there was shooting pain one of my feet. I looked down to find my legs buried in the rubble. Harry and the others ran over but I was surprised when even Draco ran to help dig me out from what remained of the wall.

" Haylee, why would you do that" Fred screamed at me and I smiled laughing like a crazy person." I watched Dumbledore, my parents, Cedric, all of them die in front of me but I couldn't watch you go too Fred." I smiled.

" But I thought Trelawney warned you about changing anything" Hermione said and I sighed shaking my head.

" I don't care anymore, not if I had a chance to save you, any of you" I told them before turning to Harry, wanting so much to tell him. A giant spider appeared but Ron and Harry attacked it, Fred helped me to my feet and I winced as a pain spread throughout my ankle. Draco had disappeared with Goyle, and Percy had run after a Death Eater who had been attacking a group of students." We need to get you to Madame Pomfery" Fred told me as he helped me through the now destroyed corridor.

" No, I-"I stated to protest but he cut me off by kissing me.

" I'm not taking no for an answer" he told me with a huge grin and I sighed letting him help me. When we made it to the Great Hall where the wounded were being treated, Fred tried to get me to sit down but I refused, so instead he led me over to where a set of benches were and we sat down. Explosion sounded around us and I sighed closing my eyes but regretted it as a pain shot through my scar. I grabbed Fred's hand trying to block it out, not wanting to see the pain and death that he was causing somewhere else." I'm right here, Haylee" Fred whispered but I shook my head.

" I'm fine" I told him before Voldemort's voice filled the air.

" You have fought valiantly, but in vain. I do not wish this, every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waist. I therefore command my forces to retreat, dispose of your dead with dignity. Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you. On this night,you have allowed your friends to die for you, rather then face me yourself. There is no greater dishonor, join me in the forbidden forest and confront your fate. If you do not do this. I shall kill every last man, women, and child, who tries to conceal you from me."

As a silence filled the air, a searing pain filled my head and I was standing in a dark place." The end is near Haylee Potter, and we both know how it shall end. Give me what I want and he will be spared" Fred's face flashed through the darkness and I grabbed my head. I closed my eyes and forced him out, when I opened my eyes, Fred sat beside me with a worried look on his face.

" I'm fine, but here's something I need to do" I smiled before getting up and limping through the crowded room but stopped when Trelawney appeared." you have ruined him by saving him, Haylee"

" No, I just did what my ancestors were to afraid to do, just like I was meant to do" I smiled before leaving the Great Hall.
