CHAPTER - 06

A broken leg and a fractured rib...

I opened my eyes and and saw the sky. I was lying on cold ground. I got up and looked around, I was on a coast, with ocean on one side and forest on the other.

I tried to get up, but with a broken leg, I can't. I also felt too much pain in my ribs.

A broken leg and a fractured rib, awesome. I wondered.

Then I looked around. I was alone. No one was around. I, got up, with all my might.

"Guys! Adi! Nitish! Sam! Kajal! Kritika!, anybody! Hello!", I called out, but except for the wind no one seemed to have heard.

With lots of efforts, I moved towards the ocean. I washed my face with the water.

I heard some noise, coming from a bit far. I started moving towards it.

"Bloody hell!", I muttered and ran towards Nitish. He was fighting with a big heavy guy, about ten inches tall and comparatively wide.

The big guy wore some kind of armour. He wore dresses like warriors. He had a big, really big hammer with which he was trying to crush Nitish's head.

Nitish was struggling against the huge hammer with his bare hands. I saw a spear next to Nitish's leg and a long, strong chain with sharp hooks, next to it.

Then, I saw Kajal. She was lying on the ground. I helped her to get up. She was hurt a little. I wanted to ask about others, but the time was not right.

I picked up the chain, swirled it in air and threw it at the heavy guy, such that its hook got stuck into the hard flesh of his strong hand and with all the power left in my body I pulled it.

I suceeded in drawing his attention to me. He left Nitish and turned towards me.

Now what. I murmured.

He was about to crush me from the hammer in his other hand when he shrieked in pain.

Nitish had stabbed the spear to his hand, which pierced through it and then was thrusted out of it.

The heavy hammer fell off the monster's hands. He tried to punch Nitu but a sharp arrow pierced through his left eye. I looked towards Kajal, I didn't noticed, she had a bow and didn't knew she was so good at it.

I gave her confused expressions. It seemed like she read my thoughts because she whispered, "Its a lot of things, you don't know about me."

Then I looked at the monster, he growled in pain and anger.

Before the monster could attack again, I grabbed the chain, which was still stuck in his flesh and pulled it along my side.

With lots of efforts, Nitish picked up the huge hammer and swirled it along the heavy legs of the big guy, who was busy taking the arrow out of his threatened eye.

He fell on his knees, when his own hammer struck his leg. I left the chain and picked up the spear next to Nitish which was already covered in blood of the giant.

I tried to stab it to the monster's chest, but either his armour or his chest was too strong for that.

He got up and his only eye was filled with rage. He moved towards us after picking up his hammer.

"Suuu!", came another arrow, aimed to pierce through the monster's other eye. But, oh!, he caught it.

He now turned to Kajal.

Nitish whispered something to me pointing towards the chain on the ground and leg of the monster. I couldn't understand him but could make it out that he wanted me to attack the monster's leg with the chain. He picked up the spear while I picked the chain.

Both of us aimed at either of his legs. The hook of the chain and the tip of the spear, pierced through either legs of the huge guy and he again fell down on his knees. His hammer slipped his hand.

Then, Kajal jumped upon the heavy guy, sat on his shoulder and thrusted an arrow into his head. Then, she jumped back on the ground.

She did all this with such expertise that I was taken aback for a moment.

Really, a lot of things that I don't know about her. I wondered.

I noticed the monster, he was hurt but not dead. It seemed like he will rise again and Nitish sensed it. He grabbed the hammer and smashed it into the guy's head.

I thought thats it. He will not get up now. Just then, I heard a loud roar of anger...
