Music is always helpful...
[First Person : Harsh]
"Aaahh!", I was moaning from the pain in my leg. I rolled my eyes to find a way out of the death trap, we were in.
Adi was supporting me, while I looked around to find any little something, that could be helpful. Then I saw a cave, a few metres from us. It seemed like a hope of life to us.
But there were too much of these creatures. We will not make it, especially me. I thought. But if, anyhow these creatures are distracted, we might make it to the cave. They just needed a distraction.
"Guys! You see that cave.", I muttered to my buddies. They all saw it.
"Yes, this may be our way out.", said Kajal.
"Yes, but we need to distract these creatures and I have a plan.", said I.
"Whats the plan?", asked Nitish.
"I..", I ws about to say something, when I heard a roar.
One of the creatures ran towards me. It was about to tear the flesh off my skin with its sharp claws, when Sameer grabbed his sword and swung it through the hairy hand of the beast and its horrible claws missed my smooth flesh just by an inch.
"Oh God! That was close.", murmured I.
The one-handed beast was yet alive and it growled again.
Nitish picked up his sword and swung it about the heavy leg of the monster. The deadly sword cut the creature's leg off. It shrieked in pain and vanished, giving yellowish light.
"Woah!, what was that?", whispered Kritika.
"Time for the plan.", said I.
"Whats the plan?", asked my buddies.
"When I tell you run for the cave, be quick.", said I.
"Okay, but you can't run with your broken leg.", said Adi.
"I know.", said I.
I got off Adi's shoulder, and with my staggering steps, I slowly moved towards a creature, gripping a sword in my hand.
"Hey! What are you doing?", asked Adi.
"Wait and watch.", said I.
I kept moving towards the creatures, it growled at me, trying to jump at me, but I kept him back, showing the metal in my hand.
Then slowly I slided a hand down my pocket and took out my mobile. I played on a loud music.
I hope this plan works. Music is always helpful. I was praying. Yeah! It worked. I shouted to myself in excitement, when I saw that the creatures were attracted to the music.
They were all coming towards me. "Go.", I shouted.
"But you?", asked Sameer.
"Just go, I will be there soon. Go, run.", shouted I.
They ran towards the cave, reached there and waited for me.
Damn it. Battery's about to die. Got to do something. I whispered.
Then I thought something. I slowly kneeled down and placed the mobile in the ground. I got up and slowly started moving towards the cave. The creatures were still busy with the music. They had surrounded the mobile. I saw as an opportunity and made a run towards my buddies, as fast as I was able to, with a broken leg.
I was still halfway from the cave when the music stopped, may be battery was dead.
Then I heard multiple roars from my back. I turned and saw the creatures, they were really very angry, as if they knew that they were being tricked.
For a moment, I felt like they were warning me. Then they ran towards me, with anger more than hunger in their eyes.
"Crap!", escaped my lips. I tried to run much faster than I could but I slipped on the sand and the sword fell of my hand. "Aaaaaahh!", I yelled when the handle of my own sword struck my chest.
I tried to get up but I felt nothing except for the unbearable pain. I looked at the creatures who were about to reach me.
My head was feeling dizzy. I was neither able to see clearly nor able to hear. My eyelids felt heavy, so I closed them.I was not able to think anything.
Then I felt like flying. I opened my eyes and had a glimpse if Adi and Nitish carrying me while Sameer helped them.
I felt too weak I was losing my senses. I again tried to open my eyes, I had a glimpse of my friends in the dark. It seemed like a cave. They were talking something.
My whole body was in pain. Then I felt something rough against my back, may be I was resting on the wall of cave.
Then again I felt like flying. Till now I could feel nothing more than the pain, pain in my chest, my legs, my head.
I forcibly opened my eyes for the last time. I saw my buddies were running. Sameer and Adi were carrying me. I slowly turn my face around to see back.
I saw a huge wave of water approaching us, coming from inside of the cave. I looked back to my buddies, smiled to myself and said like a five year old kid, "Weird..".
My eyelids got closed. Then, after a few moments, I felt weightless, my clothes seemed wet and I experienced difficulty in breathing.
Seconds later, I could barely feel anything, even the pain vanished and I passed out...
