DESMOND'S POINT OF VIEW
She kissed me and ran off. That was strange, but I had work to do. I walked to my office to see what kind of paperwork needed to be done.
I was reading something about the North Eastern pack when Lucien knocked on my door. "Alpha Lucas."
"What do you need, Lucien?"
"The rest of the Luna's clothes are here."
"Have Zenya take them to my room, and come in for a minute."
He opened the door,"Is something wrong, sir?"
"We've known each other for a long time."
"Yes sir, we have?"
"What is it, two hundred years now?"
"Yes sir, something like that?" He had a very confused look on his face.
"Would you consider me a friend, Lucien?"
"Yes sir, Alpha, you saved my life."
"Thank you, Lucien, you are dismissed." He turned to walk out the door. "One other thing, call me Desmond."
"Sir?"
"From now on you are to call me Desmond, not alpha."
"Yes sir." He left and I heard him going down the stairs, talking to himself about what is wrong with me.
After about another hour, Isabelle walked in. "I'm bored."
"Would you like to do paperwork?"
"No."
"Then what would you like to do?"
"I don't know, what is there to do?"
"Training, paperwork, movies, walking, eating, sleeping, reading, or playing the guitar."
"You can play the guitar?"
"I was alive when the guitar was invented."
"Good point. Can we go for a walk?"
"Yes." With that I got up out of my chair and took Isabelle's hand and walked down the stairs. We walked out the door, and she started looking at everything.
"What's in there?" she asked pointing at the building beside my house.
"That's where we train the warriors."
"What kinda training?"
"Hand to hand combat, weapons, strength, and agility."
"That sounds like fun. "
"No. Far from fun. "
"I bet I could do it. "
"Maybe one day."
"What are we doin tomorrow?"
"I'm training, and Zenya will show you around."
"Who's Zenya, and why do you need training.?"
"Zenya is Beta Michael's mate. I train because I like it. "
"What if I like it?"
"You can train with Zenya on Wednesday."
"Thanks."
"Is something wrong?"
"No. "
"Okay." I said as we continued our walk she asked about every building and I explained it. It started getting dark and I said,"We need to head back to my house."
"Why, are you scared of the dark?"
"Nothing scares me."
"Then why do we have to go back?"
"Because it is time to sleep."
