chapter two

When I shut the door behind me, I turn and see he has a very nice truck. It's a black Chevy, when we get to the truck he opens the door for me. I smile and say thank you. As he gets in and starts the truck the engine sounds loud and I all of a sudden get chills. After we pull out of the drive way, I ask him where is he taking me. "Well if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise date would it?" I roll my eyes, "well can I get a hint at least?" I ask wondering were in the world this guy is taking me. "You will just have to wait!" He says with a smirk on his face, he turns on the radio and when I start singing to a song he leaves it on that station. After about thirty minutes he ask me if I want to play a game. "Sure!?" I reply "It's called twenty questions and you have to answer truthfully. Got it!?" "Yeah."

"I'll start with an easy one. What's your favorite color?" I automatically say blue, "what's your favorite show?" I think about it for minute, "ummm vampire diaries. When do I get to ask you questions?" He smiles, "ok you go then." I smile because I know exactly what question I'm going to ask "where are you taking me?" He looks at me with a 'No you did not just do that to me' face and I start laughing. "You know I can't answer that but where almost there. When do you have to be back?" He ask and I realize I didn't ask my nana what time my curfew. "I don't know but it's OK my nana trust me." He nods "What about your parents?"

When he ask old memories start to flood my mind. I wasn't able to see my mom anymore once I was about five, she got caught up with drugs and guys. My dad couldn't take it anymore and he didn't want to take care of me so my nana took me. I guess he could tell that the question was painful to answer so he told me it was OK if I didn't want to answer. "Well I just don't see them anymore they both just separated and left me." I say and shorten it. I look out my window and I all of a sudden feel a hand on my lower thigh. I look over at him and he smiles at me and rubs my thigh as if saying 'I'm sorry for you.' I smile back and place my hand on top of his hand.

After a while I start to get sleepy and the surroundings stopped looking familar. "We're almost there just five more minutes beautiful." He says and I get chills when he calls me beautiful. He stops the truck and I can't really tell where we are. He comes around and opens the door for me, then gets something out of the backseat. It's a basket and a blanket. We go around to the back and he open the trunk. He spreads out the blanket and then helps me up and I realize were on a hill. It looks out over some town but it's spectacular, it's all lit up and just wonderful. I sit down beside him, "Would you like something to eat mam?" He ask me and I nod, he hands me a container of some type of Alfredo pasta and then hands me a fork. "Thank you sir." I say, as we start eating I mainly take in the view.

As I finish I put the container and stuff back in the basket and he does the same. While he still putting the stuff back I lay out on the blanket and look at the stars. Again breath taking as if I'm in another world. He lays down beside me and puts his arm around me, I snuggle up close to him. I could stay like this forever. "I know we most likely already are but I just have to ask!?" I look at him kinda confused what he's talking about. "What?" He sits us up and then he faces toward me, "it would be an honor if you would be my girlfriend.
Your beautiful and sweet and kind." I smile and can feel my cheeks heating up. "I would love to be your girlfriend. But.." I pause "what?" He says with a confused look on his face, "first you have to kiss me." I say and he smiles "Fine with me!" He says, he pulls me onto his lap and I wrap my legs around him. He wraps his arms around me and leans closer to me. I lean in the wrest of the way.

When our lips touch it's like fireworks are going off in my stomach. His hands move up to my cheeks and I move mine to around his neck.
