I looked on the billboard and it said I...........
I made it. It took a second to relies what I just read. I made it, I really made it.
I winced at the sharp pain in my wrist. It was like a thousand knives stabbing me. Then I remembered what happened. Now I better go get some X-rays done on my wrist.
Then I said goodbye to Alyssa. I walked outside, then went to see if I could find Austin. He was waiting in the car for me.
"Umm..... I made the team, but in the process I kind of broke my wrist. I didn't tell them because they would kick me off the team, but I'm telling you now. So, will you take me to the doctor?" I said wearily. He just looked at me like I was crazy.
"Um.. Yes I will. Are you ok? Do you need to go to the hospital? Or just the doctor?" He said so fast I barely heard him.
"I think I need some X-rays, so maybe the hospital." I said sounding in pain. My wrist hurt so bad.
When we got to the hospital, we were the only ones in their. Besides a single mother with two kids.
I felt sorry for her, because she had to do it all by herself.
We got in their, and they asked me some questions. They also took my height, weight, and blood pressure. Then they put my wrist under a X-ray machine.
We waited for about an hour. When they finally came back, they said it was just sprained. I was so happy.
They said I can go to cheerleading practice, but had to wear a brace. They also said don't put to much pressure on it.
I was so happy it wasn't broken. They would kick me off the team for sure. I would be so upset.
I think I'm going to try out for either captain or co-captain when they have tryouts. Alyssa was the captain last year so next week they will have tryouts.
I was so excited. I hope she don't hate me for trying out. I just wanted to try out, because I was captain at my last school. I don't want to compete for her spot.
We got in the car, and when I got home he kissed me and said bye. When I got inside I was tackled.
