Handling a drunkard!

Keya's POV

Finally we arrived at the party. My head had already started paining because of the loud music. 

Sid had bought me to a club which was a 15 min drive from our place and still i couldnt find any familiar faces.

"hey keez listen, i am going up on the first floor to have drinks with my friends you enjoy yourself here and if you need anythng just give a call ok?"

"seriosuly dude keez?? how many times i have told you not to call me that. yaa ok whatever. but dare you runaway somewhere else leaving me all alone here!"

"yes keeeezzzz" he said purposely streching the word keez. I mean which brother does this? leaving his sister alone in a club full of strangers.

All i could see around me were couples.

"I assume i am the only one single here" i said to myself.

"No you not the only one single here dear. because in sometime your brother will also be single" i heard someone say that.

It had to be Rhea i thought. so i turned and there she stood all drunk. Her hair was all messed up.She couldnt even stand properly.

"Rhea whats wrong with you?. how much have you been drinking!? look at you. you look horrible. And why are you breaking up with my brother? And if you break up wont u also be single.!?" i asked her. though i regretted saying the last line but still.

" You girl You. you are the reason for your brothers break up.!"

" Why me.? Rhea are you even in your senses.?" I asked her.

" Because of you sid dint come to pick me up. Because of you sid is not even picking up my calls and not even replying to my messages. He thinks I am overreacting. why shoudnt I.,? my boyfriend cancels our new year plan to come with his sister. what am I suppose to say or do.?"

yes she was overreacting I thought in my mind. Atleast I agreed with my brother on some part. But the main problem was I dint know how to react. I stood there still thinking of what to say. By now the music had stopped and everyone had gathered around us which made me even more scared. 

Till then I heard sids voice " we are over Rhea" 

Shocked I turned towards sid.The only reason I was shocked was because I knew how much sid loved her. On the other hand rhea wasnt at all serious about him. She was a total bitch. She was with him for only 1 reason and that was money. Sid knew this but couldn't say anything because of his love for her. So when he said this I had to be shocked!

" You cant just insult my sister like that in public and go away empty handed my dear. you should have expected this anyway. you any which ways dint love me you just loved my money. you use to flirt with other guys I never said anything but today you hurted my sister you blamed her for no reason and you thought I wouldnt tel you anything. well you were wrong. I love my sister no matter what and woudnt stand anyone hurting her so better run off from here before anything worse happens!" 

 what the hell just happend.? 

Did my brother break up with Rhea beacuse of me.? Someone pinch me please. Am I dreaming.?. my brother breaking up beacuse of me.? This ought to be a dream.

"hey Rahul would you please drop Rhea home. she is not even in a state to stand. i would have but i can't leave keya alone here" I heard sid instructing one of his friends.

"ya sure man!" His friend replied.

"hey keeeezzz. come lets get you some cola!" sid said trying to ignore the Rhea topic completely.Sid still loves her i know. because if he dint he wouldnt have told his friend to drop her home.I felt really bad for him. I guess Rhea was right. I am the reason for their break up.

Tears started flowing down my cheeks.

"sorry sid. I am so sorry." i told him.

"hey siso chill. its ok girl. You dont need to worry. i cant let my sister be hurt like that."

"i am the reason for your break up sid. i shoudnt have asked you to come with me. and i even lied about my friends. they are out with their boyfriends not cousins. It just felt weird to tell you because i knew you would make fun of me for being single."

"keez i knew your friends were out with their BFs. I know u lied to me."

"huh?"

"yes keez. now dont ask how. Lets forget al this and go on the terrace to see the fireworks.Its gonna be midnight. And dont you wanna make a wish like every year?"

"yes"

We went upstairs and all i could again see were couples.I made up my mind as to what wish i should make this year at 12.But the point was will it come true? will god grant my wish?

Every year i make a wish at 12 and many a times my wish has come true. I hope this year also it comes true.

There were just 5 minutes for 12. I quickly grabbed a cola as i was thirsty and went and stood beside sid.

"so ready with your wish keez?" sid asked me.

"yup. what about you?"

"yes".

I gave him a tight hug.

"you are the best bro" I tld him.

"and you are the crankiest siso ever" was his reply.
