The rules were clear and simple. 18 enter, only one survive. That left a bitter taste in my mouth when he said that. We had braces on our necks, and if we ever step in a marked zone, or threaten to take off the brace, BOOM! Now that everyone was SUPER shocked up, it was time for the game to start. The announcer as it turns out, was another teacher of ours!
(Ms Cassie): Boy #1, Michail. The exchange student from Russia? Sure, shy not. Very staggeringly, the bag was pushed towards him, causing him to make a 'Oof!' Sound. He looked at all of us, and nodded. I just shook my head.
(Cassie): Girl #10, Karina! She looked at us, and hurried out of the camp. (Cassie): boy #3, Miguel. I shuffled uncomfortably, and he walk over to them they gave him his bag, and he turned to me and smiled. (Cassie): Girl #9 and Boy #2, Marin captor and Daniel. I gasped. I looked over at Daniel, and his gaze quickly flicked away from me. (Hunter): Jss. (Marin): A walking dead reference? (Hunter): Marin...jss? (Marin): Just. Survive. Somehow. I gave him one last hug, and ran outside. It was dark, and I couldn't really see anything!
Suddenly, I yelled out. Karina's dead body was there, and tears came down my face. She had a huge blood wound in her abdomen and her bag was ransacked! (Marin): Rest in piece, friend. I bent down and closed her eyes. At least she wouldn't have to suffer like the rest of us.
(Marin): I just need some help. I just need...I need Daniel! And so, my quest for Daniel begins! Here's hoping I don't die before I find him. Don't take it the wrong way! I just need to find out WHY he saved me back there. Or was if it was even on purpose. He knows more than he lets on. And I'm determined to find out.
