The wind blew harshly on my wet skin as I jumped out the shower. Goosebumps began to form all over my body. I was cold on the outside, but I was freezing on the inside.
I grabbed my school uniform and threw it on.
"Pearl!" Yelled mum.
"Yes?" I replied.
"Breakfast is ready, come down and eat honey."
"Okay, one sec."
I filled my bag with my books and headed downstairs. Breakfast was on the table, a full English. I didn't really have an appetite these days but I didn't want my mum knowing this, so I just sat down and ate it. When my mum left the kitchen I quickly threw the rest of my food into the bin.***
As soon as I entered my school I was greeted by about 10 of the younger girls . I didn't mind it but sometimes I hated being the centre of attention, having all eyes on me. I wasn't necessarily fat but when everyone was staring at me, I felt like a whale-massive.
"Babes," Called Ambrose. "You alright? You look ill..."
"I'm fine." I said harshly.
"Okay, I'm just worried about you. These days you're becoming more distant." Ambrose whispered.
"I said I'm fine okay? Just leave it." I hissed. I knew he was only looking out for me but I just... I... I didn't need his help okay.Okay, I know what your thinking. What a bitch? She has a gorgeous boyfriend who is trying to look out for her but she's adamant on pushing him away. But it's not as simple as that. I can't explain it but sometimes everything is blurred... Like looking through a window while it's raining.
I know I should be grateful, I have a loving mother, a father who works all hours to provide for us, a great boyfriend, and people who look up to me. I have everything, but I still feel incomplete.
That's when I saw him walk by.
