Clock Tower

Chapter 1

You can't believe this. You, a nobody from district five, are here in the capital. You clutch your hands around your bag tightly. Two days ago you where just a small repair boy and now you're walkin through the streets of the capital. How you got here? You have no idea. You know you should be figuring out where you're staying but you just can't help but look around. It's all so different and busy! You guess it can't hurt if you just look around for a little bit right?

You are hopelessly lost. Everything looks the same. Why the hell did you think you'd not get lost? You punch the wall of a nearby building earning you some stares. You ignore them calming down. With a sigh you start to attempt to find you're way out of there.

The sun has set. You have been walking all day. You round a corner and suddenly hit your head on something. Looking up you realize it's a guard. Standing up you immediately apologize offering him a hand up. He instead shoves you aside muttering something at you. He dissapears around the corner and leaves you standing there dumbfounded. Suddenly a loud clock rings making you jump. The sky is lit with a bright light and you look up surprised to see a shooting star. It leave a trail of star dust in the sky illuminating the city. You follow it amazed and entranced by its colors. What a beautiful sight.

You've been walking without knowing what you're doing until suddenly you stop looking up. You've found your way to a large clock tower. The door seems unlocked and you carefully peek inside. No one's there. You reconize the interior and pull out a page from youre bag. It says that this shall be your residence followed by an illustration of the clock towers interior. You walk up the stairs reaching the top of the tower. The clock serves as a large window and fills the tower with a beautiful dawn light. You put your bag down and rest your head on it laying down. What a strange place to live. You're not sure what to make out of it. As the sun begins to rise you finialy drift off to sleep.
