It had been 2 weeks since Louis first arrived at Canehill, and it was already taking its toll on him. He couldn't concentrate, not with thoughts of Harry swirling around his mind. The past couple of days, he had spent with Harry yet again. They chatted a lot, played 20 questions, snook around a little. They genuinely got to know each other. And Louis hated to admit it, but he found himself growing more and more fond of Harry each moment. Not to mention more attracted to him. He was just so captivating.

Louis should probably get more actual work done, but he was too busy focusing on just Harry in general. He did get a little work done lately though, he's not completely hopeless. He'd managed to have a few actual therapy sessions with Harry, testing out all sorts of exercises. And surprisingly Harry had been complying pretty well.

But he had been figuring Harry out slowly. It seemed like the more he got to know him, the more he could determine Harry's mental health. To Louis, Harry appeared almost sane. He was definitely possessive, but not to an insane level. But he still hadn't managed to figure out the innocent part.

But he really should focus on his job more, not start crushing on Harry more. But the thing was, he was trying, but it wasn't working like he wanted it to. Like most things.

He filled in Harry's recent notes on how Harry puts his guard up around people. About how he believes Harry might be sane after all. Bad idea. When the warden looked through his notes, he told Louis he must be wrong and needed to try harder. That he was wrong because Harry had been medically diagnosed as insane, and that he shouldn't be trying to change that fact.

Maybe Louis was the wrong person for this case after all, but he didn't want to give up so early just because he got criticised. He wanted to be the person to help Harry. He didn't care that he was attracted to Harry. He knew deep down Harry was a sweet caring person who just wanted to love and to be loved. That isn't a crime is it?

He just wanted to prove Harry was innocent.

Before it was too late.

"Harry I need to ask you a question." Louis spoke as soon as Harry entered the therapy room.

"Uh...ok."

"Do you answer all my questions honestly? Like, you're not being fake around me are you?"

"Of course I do. Why would I lie? And why would I be fake? I have decency Louis." Harry answered confused.

Louis sighed, hopping on the bed, Harry sitting next to him. It seemed to have become a thing now.

Louis just shook his head, placing it in his hands.

"Lou...what's wrong?"

"It's nothing you need to worry about."

"Louis..."

"Harry."

Harry frowned at Louis' attitude. He huffed and turned away, making Louis instantly feel guilty.

"Sorry" Louis said quietly.

"I want to help...but you need to tell me whats wrong."

"Its just...well, the warden looked through your file on all your progress. Theres a statement in there that basically says you're insane and well...I wrote that its a false statement."

Harry went to interrupt but Louis carried on. "And he told me that I'm wrong and I need to do my job properly. But I'm so sure of it Harry...you've been nothing but nice and charming and just..normal and I can't seem to understand why they think you're insane. They're wrong about you. I'm sure of it." Louis finished ranting.
