In the middle of winter when no one is around
The Winter Rose will stand proudly in the ground.
When the children that are lost with hope and love
The Winter Rose will help lift there spirits above.
When the heart broken women cry in the night
The Winter Rose will still be there in the day light.
No matter where you go, no matter what happen
The Winter Rose will also be around.
Summer, Fall, Spring, and Winter it will also stand proudly in the ground.
It's luscious red lips never fade, the stem never sags, and the life never dies.
The Winter Rose will always be around
It may prick you at times, but it will not break
Unlike the boys that you have made mistakes
The Winter Rose will always be there to lighten the mood
