Prologue
“PUSH! One More!” my scream filled the air. “One more time!” the doctor said getting excited. The cries of a baby filled the air. “Your beautiful baby girl,” a smiling nurse said handing me my child. A smile spread all over my face as I took her in my arms. “what are we going to name her?” my husband asked. “Min Jee,” I replied in a whisper smiling down at my beautiful baby girl.
I started to feel my eyes getting droopy and my arms getting weaker as my vision clouded. “Somebody grab her!” the doctor shouted. I felt my child being pulled out of my arms and my breathing faltered as my heart rate slowed. “Sir we need to get you out of the room,” a nurse said trying to get my husband out of the room. “Mi Sun!” my husband yelled. The cries of nae ttal filled the atmosphere. “Min…” was all I got out before my last breath left my body.
