Once And For All

Legalized Pt. 2

 September 2013 - June 26th, 2015. 

    This day was like no other. It was super sunny here in North Cali. Me and Mark were making lunch and watching the news. It was a normal day, but then something happened that made me and his world turn up side down.

" Jack ! is lunch almost done yet?"  Mark yells as I flip over our grilled cheese sandwiches. " Yes , Marky - Mark. They're almost done, just hold your horses!" I yelled from the kitchen. Just then, Mark decided to play dumb and grab his junk. " Mark , that's not what I meant and you know it!" I yell, with laughter escaping my voice. "Yeah , but maybe that's what I meant!" Mark says while grabbing his junk harder. " Yeah , yeah. Maybe later babe." I said with a smirk on my face, letting him know I really meant it. I finally got our grilled cheese sandwiches done to golden brown perfection. I set them on crystal white plate , picked them up and headed for the sofa Mark was sitting on.  I plopped down , putting my feet on the cushion next to me and simultaneously handing Mark's plate to him. I began to focus my attention to the TV . I read the headline and something in me lit up. The headline read "SAME SEX  MARRIAGE NOW LEGAL ALL OVER USA" I was so in shock that I immediately looked at Mark. He was just as surprised. I listened in and began to realize that this was in fact true. I heard " Same Sex Marriage is now legal in the U.S.A, The Supreme Court has made that decision. No states can make the decision of making Gay Marriage legal now. It's legal in all states." I look over at Mark , Smiling , and at the same time , crying. I couldn't believe that this is happening! Mark's face read the same thing.  We can get Married now. Me and Mark have been together as BF & BF for 3 years. Now finally, we can make us. Our Relationship , Forever.
