Carli (P.O.V)

I knew it for sure,I always had a soft corner for Hope,I mean literally everyone in the team itself knew it.Hope Solo,she is a definition of perfection to be exact.I know people say that she's a mean bitchy goalkeeper,but hey! Some people don't know the real her.There's a lot more of her to be seen other than just seeing her on field.I was getting lost on my thoughts."Carli! Carli!" Kling screamed at me bringing me back to my reality."Carli why do you always day dream most of the time?!?! Get your ass up and socialize!" Kling ordered me.I chuckled and muttered a 'sorry' before I got up from the couch I was sitting on.

All most the whole team and crew was here at Cheney's house for having a little Christmas dinner before tomorrow's last victory tour match plus it was Abby's last game.So everyone was pumped up for tonight as Syd,Kelly and Kling the mischievous ones of the team decided to play a lot of games and promised the team that they would make tonight as one of the most unforgettable night that the team has ever spend together.

I was walking around the house and when I reached the kitchen.Just then my eyes landed on Hope,she was being just her normal self but still I couldn't keep my eyes off her.She was chatting with Cheney,A-rod and Boxy."CARLI!" Abby shouted from the living room.Her voice got me startled for a minute but then I knew what she wanted me for.I sighed to myself and rushed to the living room to check on Abby.

Syd (P.O.V)

I was discussing with Kelly about the games that we should play tonight when Kling came with a worried look stuck to her face "Guys Carli is day dreaming again" Kling frowned by saying this to the both of us."Oh we all know who she day dreams about" I said with a smirk attached to my face."Plus,we all know that Hope also likes Carli back" Kelly stated."Yea but at least one of them should realize the other one has feelings for her" Kling frowned again.

This is when the smart brain of mine started working."Guys.." I paused "What if we make them kiss to realize their feelings for each other" I said with a smirk plastered to my face."It's a good idea but the big question here is HOW?" Kling questioned me.

I grinned as I flashed the mistletoe that I was holding in my hands to Kling and Kelley."So you guys know what to do right?" I asked both Kling and Kelly,they both hooded their like two kids who had just opened their presents."Okay guys Lets do this!" I exclaimed as we three separated to do our work.

Third person (P.O.V)

Kelley lightly pushed past people until she finally found Hope in the kitchen talking to Cheney,A-rod and Boxy with a big smile on her face.grinning Kelley walked over to them confidently.

"Hello ladies" Kelley grinned cheekily,making all of them giggle at her."Hope,I think Carli was looking for you in the porch" Kelley murmured,scratching the back of her neck nervously.Hope titled her head and raised her eyebrows "really?" She asked.

Kelley nodded nervously hoping Hope would believe her."Yup,she looked pretty..." Kelley struggled to find the word "panicked" she finished.Hope murmured a 'I'll be right back' to Cheney,A-rod and Boxy before walking to Cheney's porch.

Meanwhile,Kling was glaring at her teammate who was chatting with Abby and the past teammates of the team."Abby I need Carli for a minute please" Kling showed her innocent face to Abby as she pulled Carli away from Abby.

Carli groaned and followed Kling."Hope's looking for you" Kling said nervously to Carli."What did she want?" Carli questioned Kling.Kling felt her palms start to sweat.Syd never gave a cover story.

"Uhh.." Kling stuttered "I think she wanted to borrow your phone" Carli stared at Kling confusedly."My phone?" She asked Kling as she rose one of her eyebrows in confusion.Kling sighed and gave Carli a little shove towards the door."Go on! It's rude to keep a lady waiting" Kling teased.Carli chucked and left to go to the porch anyway.

A few moments before,Syd slid away from the party and skillfully managed to tie a mistletoe above a part in Cheney's porch.She snickered mischievously before getting back into the house.

Hope stood in the porch confused,wondering where Carli was,when the door opened and Carli stepped out into the cold."There you are" they said in unison,making them chuckle quietly to themselves.

"Here" Carli said pulling out her phone to hand it to hope.Hope raised her eyebrow."Huh?" She asked.Carli looked even more confused,"What? Kling said that you wanted to borrow my phone"

"No,I didn't say anything to Kling about that plus Kelley said you wanted to talk to me about something." Hope said confusedly."What I never-" Carli stopped talking when a light above them flickered.

The two looked up and conveniently enough there was a mistletoe.

"Uh....." Hope blushed,hiding her face behind her hair.Carli felt her face heat up as well as she started at the plant.She looked down at Hope who was smiling at her.She was blushing and Carli definitely had to smile at how beautiful she looked right now.

"Well it is tradition" Carli whispered.Leaning in,Carli gently pressed her lips to Hope's.She could feel her heart beat quick and then she panicked.She moved to pull away in embarrassment when she felt Hope smile through the kiss.

Hope kissed Carli back and wrapped her arms around her neck.They stood kissing under the mistletoe for a while until Carli pulled away.Hope was blushing deeply and She knew that Carli's cheeks were red as well.

"Hope?" Carli whispered."yeah?" Hope replied back.".....will you be my girlfriend?" Carli asked hope before taking a heavy breath.

Carli looked down at hope,trying to read her expressions.Hope was shocked at first,her hazel eyes widen in surprise.Then a smile lit up her whole face and she looked down at the ground shyly before nodding."yeah" she said hiding her blushing face.

Carli grinned happily as she realized that she had finally gotten the girl.After crushing on her for so long.

"Really?" Carli questioned hope again."yeah" hope replied back shyly."Seriously right?" Carli again wanted to make sure."yeah!" Hope exclaimed."Your not kiddi-" Carli started but she was cut off.

"OH,JUST KISS ALREADY!" They heard Syd yelling from inside the house.Turning towards the window in alert.They had to laugh when they saw nearly everyone's face pressed against the window as they tired to get a good look at the new couple.

Giggling Carli leaned down and kissed Hope under the mistletoe again to the loud cheering noises from inside the house.

And of course Syd's comment."Wait! I deserve some credit,cheer for me too!"
