Chanelle's POV
It's my birthday today, I went down to the common room to find Harry with a bunch of presents on the floor and a load of cards in his hands. Hermione, Ron and also Draco has left to go home for Christmas. I can't believe that they went home really early in the morning. I ran down the stairs to Harry and jumped on him, all the cards flew everywhere."happy birthday Chanelle" Harry said with a bit of a laugh, "happy birthday to me too Harry" me and him burst out laughing, we sat down and I opened all my presents off my poppy. Also I had this weird cape I put it on and it was an invisibility cloak, but we don't know who it's from. I started to open my cards that Hermione, Ron, Draco and everyone else sent me.
Draco's letter;
Dear Chanelle,
Happy birthday, I really do hope you have a wonderful day and a lovely two weeks. I will give you my present when I get back, I want to see your face when you open it. I just want you to know that you mean everything to me, and I've only known you for a couple of weeks but I don't know what I would do without you. I don't even know how I'll cope these two weeks without someone to make me smile, without someone to make me feel like where the only people in the world. I'll see you soon Chanelle Ariana Marie Dumbledore.

Harry's POV
It's from Malfoy, after she read the letter she passed it to me to put on the mantle piece. I read it first and it was really upsetting to see how close they have gotten. I think I'll have to get over Chanelle, because I bet you that they will end up dating by the end of the year.
Chanelle's POV
That letter was really sweet. I love Draco with all my heart but as a friend. I passed the letter to Harry and he read it. I didn't know what to say after that, he didn't look very happy after he read it. I opened my other letters and I put them on the mantle piece. I went upstairs to get dressed then me and Harry made our way to the great hall. "Why did you read my letter off Draco Harry?" I asked because I was really curious why he did it, it wasn't his letter to read. "Ow I just wanted to see who it was off, because it made you smile and I was wondering who wrote it. That's all, are you mad that I did?" He seemed pretty believable so I just went along with it. "I was at first, but now I know why I'm fine with it." I wasn't really, I was still pretty mad but he only read the name that's all. Why do I forgive him so easily?
The summer holidays was over and Hermione, Ron and Draco was on there way back to Hogwarts, me and Harry raced down to Hagrid's hut to fetch them with him. I won the race obviously, but that's only because I tripped Harry up half way down. "Hello Hagrid, are you going to get the students now?" Harry said surprisingly polite, "yes indeed Harry, would you two like to come?" "Yes please Hagrid" I said excitedly. We were at the train station waiting for the train, it was at the top of the hill so they would be about five minutes away. I couldn't wait to see Hermione and Ron to tell them all about Christmas and my birthday, also I was surprised that I really missed someone like Draco around, I was going to miss him anyway but not like I did. I had dreams about him nearly every night, it was really strange. The train was here and everyone got off "first years please, first years!" Hagrid shouted in my ear once again. Hermione ran straight up to me and hugged the living daylight out of me. I turned purple for a second, then she let go to hug Harry. I was looking for Draco everywhere, but I couldn't find him. We got onto the boats and he was with Crabb, Goyle and this very ugly Slytherin girl called Pansy Parkinson, I had a sick feeling deep in my stomach, I didn't like the thought of Draco talking to an other girl. Is it jealousy? I hope it's not because I don't want to ruin anything me and draco have, I love the friendship we have made.
