I woke up one morning before school (on December 1st, how ironic is that?! Lol) and I saw a be-yooo-ti-ful sunrise....as described below!

A candy- striped sky
Blue and pink
Calls to me
Awakening the life within
Tall pines brace themselves against Sunrise's vast kingdom
Ocean roars a welcome
Surf urges land to call a greeting
Wind chases away the drowsiness of night
As Sun graces me with her presence
Bringing color to her World
I begin the daily grind
Dressing in front of the sunrise
Distracted by this beauty
I thank God for this lovely daybreak gift
