Chapter 10- Secrets Revealed
----------------------------------

I stand there, my gaze hot on his...

Here I thought Leon grew up with a wonderful loving family who wanted him in this committee to be part of a pack.

When really, he was probably born by some whore in his pack, getting raised as one of them.

"I can only imagine what you're thinking of me right now," Leon smirks,"think I'd be here right now if I like their ways of living? Think I would've ran away if I liked their lifestyles?"

I shake my head stilly.

"I'm not like them which makes them infuriated enough to-" Leon stops his sentence, raking a hand through his thick hair, looking down at his feet.

I step closer to him,"Should I even ask what they did to you?"

Leon looks at me blankly.

"No, you should know what they do to people like us," he insists.

Reaching down his back to the hem of his shirt, he looks at me questionably for permission.

I nod in response, him pulling it off in one swift motion.

Gasping as I see thin white scars lining his chest, I reach out to him, running my fingers over them.

The more I looked, the more I found lining his skin as some were faded more than others.

His skin was pale, but he had a fit body. Hard chest and tight muscles.

"Leon..." I drag out in a soft whisper.

He took my hands from his chest and into his own.

"Looks painful, don't it? But, I got used to their cuttings and the binding of my wrists before it begins," he assures.

I eye him and squeeze his hands sympathetically.

"Why do they want you back then if you never were one of them?" I question.

Leon frowns at my words.

"My Luna awaits my return," he groans.

I blew out a breath and sat down on his bed and gazed down at the floor.

There were so many questions I had but I didn't want to overwhelm him. So, I just kept quiet, my emotions basically consuming me inwardly.

"She requests I come back and actually set things straight with her. But, I hate her and all of the things that come with having to be with her," Leon says, sitting down next to me,"after getting beat daily then having to deal with her on top, I just couldn't do it anymore so I ran from the camp."

I look up at him sideways, a grin sliding to my lips,"That feeling is mutual in ways."

Leon half smiles slightly, knowing I was referring to having to be with Rangel and being picked on daily.

"We're more alike then we may think," he points out to me.

That's when I get off the bed, making my way to the door.
