She locked all the doors,
Closed all the blinds,
Turned off all the lights,
As she hid in plain sight.
She cowered in fear,
As she felt a few tears,
She looked all around,
But she was dumbfound.
She thought that the monsters that played in her head,
Could be blocked out by locks that couldn't be bent,
She thought they were real,
As they had a tint of teal.
She hugged her knees close,
As she saw ghosts,
But what she didn't know,
Is that all the monsters,
Lived,
In,
Her,
Head.
