"I am terribly sorry Alpha. We didn't mean to trespass." she ground out. I was seeing red. If I didn't get a grip on my wolf; then this lady and her mate will end up dead. "How did you get past patrol? I have wolves running guard 24/7." I don't appreciate her disrespect. She won't bow her head in respect, and it is driving my wolf crazy. My wolf is taking it as a challenge. Although she wouldn't have a chance at surviving it. "Alpha Reed, my mate had done some observing. It literally only took us a minute to slip through the border patrol. We waited until they switched stations. That's how we slipped through." She bowed her head in respect. Finally she submitted! She bowed her head and tilted her head to the side, showing her neck. She was showing the ultimate sign of submission! "Alright, I will review your appeal tonight. But first thing in the morning you need to stop by my office. Alright?" She looked to be overly joyed. "Yes, Alpha. Um. If you don't mind me asking; why does the Alpha have a bruised jaw?" Remember you don't have to tell her anything Sasha. "That's none of your concern." She looked concerned. Nobody is ever concerned about me. She's probably only doing it to insure her mate and her a place in the pack. I have to keep my fathers reputation in tact. Other Alphas will see it as a sign of weakness, having a Alpha Female, instead of the Alpha Male. I have to appear strong. "Oh, I see. Well, I must get back. Goodbye Alpha." I growled; you don't leave unless you are dismissed by the Alpha!"Sorry, Alpha." she whimpered. "You are dismissed." I growled. I quickly calmed myself down. What would dad do, I asked myself. Why can't my life be simple? It's always complicated, I never can catch a break. I walked out of the bathroom and over to Mary. "Hey kiddo. What did she want?" "Uh, she needed to talk to me in private." The look in her was enough to tell me she understood what I was saying.

I was tired and it was now 10:00 and my shift ends in two more hours. Ugh, I hate my life. I still have another job to get to. I work two jobs, one is at Hal's, and the other is Deck's. I'm a waitress at the other diner in town. My shift starts at 12:30, so I have a thirty minute break in between. It's basically used to change and get there.

A tall man walked up to the counter and sat down. Thankfully on the side farthest away from me. He looks rough, he would even pass for handsome if I weren't mated. Though technically, I'm not mated. We haven't completed the mating process. Firstly, they have to mark me, then mate me. We haven't marked each other yet. And I don't want to "mate" just yet, I mean I'm only 16. Knowing the boys, which are now 20, they would want pups. They want an heir to take over the pack. While I was lost in my thoughts, I hadn't noticed the man move closer to me. He moved a significant distance towards me. At least five chairs over. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but, what's a beauty like yourself doing working in a diner. Not to mention in the late hours of the night. It's quite dangerous." Please tell me he's not hitting on me! "Oh, really. I hadn't noticed. I mean the threat kinda' dies off when you do this for a while." He just smirked! That confirmed it. He is flirting with me! The nerve of this guy! " Well, sir. I afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave if you aren't going to order anything." I smirked. He just kept smiling at me, like an idiot. "I'm Elliot. What's your name?" Well, this guy is an absolute moron. I put on an idiotic smile and pointed to my name tag where it read, Sasha. "Oh, well, I forgot that you work here. So, why is such a gorgeous lady such as yourself doing working here?" He leaned in closer to me, then whispered "Especially the new Alpha." I gulped, he knows. Why must everyone know who I am? Oh, that's right. My dad is the most feared and respected Alpha in America! Ugh, I really hate my life. "Well, I needed some extra cash that's all." "Uh huh. Why don't you take the money from the pack? It's what it's for after all." I am not liking this guy. Elliot is just turning out to be a complete jerk.I mean, I knew he would be. "I'm sorry, but who are you? And what right do you have to tell me what to do with the pack money? And by the way that's not what it's for, it's to help the pack in times of need." I whisper-yelled. "Um, well, the first answer is Alpha Elliot, of the Silver Star Pack. The second, I don't really have that right, but I thought it would be useful for you to know that you could use it. Lastly, I'm sorry?" By, now I was in complete shock. I just disrespected another Alpha! I am now completely and utterly surprised, he should have flared by now. All Alphas cannot stand disrespect. "Might I ask why you are on my territory? And what is the reason for your visit?" I questioned. He just shrugged it off as if it where a harmless question with no hint of a threat in it. I look to my right to check the time, 11:49! So close! Please, oh, please! Just speed up! "Well, I was looking for an audience with you in the morning. After I was fully rested for my journey. It is rather tiring coming through the mountain pass. If you know what I mean." he explained to me. I do. It is really tiring, extremely tiring, actually. "Well, I can offer you lodging at the pack house, but I will not be able to escort you. I can send for my Beta to take you?" I offer. "That would be nice. See you in the morning?" he said with hope laced in his voice. "Of course. Bye." Then, Elliot stood up and left the diner. I mind linked my dad's Beta giving him notice to meet Alpha Elliot and escort him to the pack house. I got a quick 'Yes, Alpha' then the line went dead. I look at the clock again, 12:00. Yes! Now I am officially off of work. I walk towards the back and go into the 'locker room', so to speak. I reach into my locker and pull out my next uniform. A royal blue dress with white frilly trim on the edges. Time to catch a bus.
