Chapter 3 - Back Off!

That's Jackson on top...?

"Sure, thank you, Minho."

On our way to the cafe, we talked about books, music, FOOD and our love for dogs — espcially huskies and of course, my first day of school.

"First day of school has been great, other than bumping into an arrogant big nose prick twice. I just don't get why he doesn't just stop. It's really uncomfortable. Like you know the stares and stuff. Just no."

"Oh, that guy! Lemme guess. Hanbin?"

"Yea... Speaking of the devil..."

"What are the both of you up to? I see you made a new friend, Kendall." He smirked.

"Oh great, third time now."

"Great? Kendall, you're coming with me."

He then grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from Minho's side.

"Hell no, She's not."

I struggled to break free from him but it didn't work.

"Ugh! Back off! She's not coming with you!"

I then bit Hanbin's arm, causing him to release my hand from his grasp and ran away with Minho.

All we heard afterwards was,

"F*ck! Get them!"

We ran as fast as we could and finally lost Hanbin's squad in a sea of students.

"Phew!"

"I guess we'd have to leave the school now and grab coffee outside instead."

"Yea, I think but I drove to school this morning tho..."

"It's fine, I'll drive you home today and pick you up tomorrow morning."

"Oh... I hope I don't trouble you."

"Nah, It's fine."

"Really? That's very nice of you. Thank you."

"My pleasure, babe."

BABE. He just called me what? BABE.

Throughout the journey to the cafe in town was pretty awkward. Neither of us spoke about what happened earlier on. To me, it was a terrifying experience having to run away from someone but to him, he seemed to be used to it. Why? I don't know either.

The awkward was not broken until he asked,

"So, latte or...?"

"Iced chocolate will do."

"Okay, you just take a sit first while I order."

As you stared outside the windows thinking about what happened just now,

"Hey, are you alright?"

"Yea, I'm fine. I was just thinking about homework." I lied.

Something just seemed very mysterious about this guy now. Weird.

"By-"

*Phone rings*

"Please excuse me."

"Hello, dad?
...
Yes, alright, I'll be home soon. Bye!"

"Hey Minho, I need to get home now. My dad's gonna get a mail between 5 to 6 and it's already 4.54"

"Oh, sure. Let's get going then."

"Here's my address."

"Oh, it's just a 5 minute drive from here."

During the journey, he told me about the teachers in school, from the nicest to the nastiest.

"Oh oh, there's this one with a huge round pair of glasses, we call her the Harry Potter of YG University. And with that, we're here."

"Thank you for the ride!"

"No sweat! I'll see you tomorrow!"

And he went off.

What a day.
