Chapter 4

The weather is pretty awesome today and everything feels just right and I felt like a lucky guy even though Alexxia wasn't mine yet. That darked haired, brown-eyed, petite and gorgeous black girl. I wanted me some of that.

I walked about 10 minutes away from my house than I saw Alexxia locking her gate.

"She practically lives next door and I never knew all this time. I should go out more for real."

She walked up to me and waved with her soft but brightening smile. Her sight made my knees weak and she looked more beautiful than the day before , I just wanted to grab her and kiss her but I didn't want to seem like some weird creep.

"Hey Shane...." She walked up to Storm and started scratching his belly, for some weird reason I wished that was me .

"Hey Alexxia I'm glad you came." I stared at her and admired her curly hair. I looked down at her lips and all I saw was movement with no sound .

"Shane..... Shane are you okay???? " I snapped out of it than she chuckled. " I know this great place where we can hang out, follow me ." she grabbed Storms leash and he seemed quite happy about it. I just trailed along trying to figure out where we were going .

"So how long have you been living her in Springsteen Field??" I ran my hands through my hair .

"Practically all my life. Since I was 3 and now I'm 18 and I'm still non existent in this big bad world." She seemed to wonder of into her thoughts when she said that and I knew exactly how she felt.

"Haha, how come I've never met you before? I mean I've been here ever since I was born." She smiled at me.

"Well, I'm kind of an introvert . I find comfort in my silence , books and my pet cat Kalisee. I rather watch movies and cuddle under blankets than go out and meet new people. Its pretty lame ." she shrugged and looked ahead

"I don't think its lame." She looked up to me and flashed a tiny smile as if she found comfort in what I said.

ALEXXIAS P.O.V

"This guy is pretty cool. I mean where has he been all my life? Okay .... Get yourself together Alexxia, you can't just fall for a random guy. We're just friends and I kind of like it "

I looked at Shane and his so tall and masculine. His hair is perfect and his eyes are a blue ocean wonderland. I've never seen such a bright smile in my life. I tried not to look lusty so I didn't stare at him for long. When he ran his fingers through his hair that's when I felt weak, I got lost in his presence but Storm distracted me and dragged me with his leash.

"Oh, we're here!" I said nervously.
Storm ran to the wide field with his tongue hanging out and I guessed he love it so much.

"Haha I use to come here a lot with my mom and we would hang around here a lot. Those were the awesome days."

I looked at him with such amusement.
"What do you mean were?"

"She passed away when I was 8 but I managed to pull through, my dad made sure I was taken care of and happy."

What he said seemed so deep. I kept quiet for awhile and we walked in silence.

"Are you okay Alexxia? "

"Oh yeah I'm fine, I'm just glad I met you..." I felt like covering my mouth.

"Why the hell did I say that?? " I thought to myself.

"Would it be crazy if I said I felt the same way??" The soft wind blew his hair in a artsy way and at that moment I felt a warm rush down my spin and in my stomach.

"Alexxia, I know its weird but can I get to know you more, I mean that's if you want to?? "

"Sure I would love that. "

"Let me walk you home than." He smiled at me and we strolled the long way round to our street . It felt awesome.
