After Transfiguration was dismissed. The golden trio walked together to their next class; Potion. Lauren was dreading on her way to the class. Her palms went sweaty and her feet got heavier.
"I'm excited to see what we will be brewing today," Alexis said eagerly.
"I know right, after learning Polyjuice Potion I think I have a reason to master Potion." the green-eyed brunette stated.
"No shit, Laur." Zayn chuckled."My thoughts exactly." Lauren ignored him because she's still mad at him for pushing her over the edge.
"Um, hey Lauren." Camila interrupted them shyly. She then waved awkwardly at the other two.
"Oh, hey! Is there something you need, Camz?"
Alexis and Zayn smirked at each other and left the girls alone.
"See you in class, Laur." said Alexis wiggling her eyebrows. Lauren just nodded her head.
"Actually no, I wanted to check on you." Lauren tilted her head cutely giving Camila a confused look. Camila giggled at her facial expression.
"You kinda look off in class just now?" Camila reminded her. Lauren stood frozen. She didn't know what to answer. Camila's not supposed to know about the dare.
"Uh, I'm fine. Zayn was just being annoying." she said shakily.
"What did he want?" Lauren wiped her sweaty hands on her robe.'Screw you, Zayn.'
"Nothing, don't worry."
"We should go, we're already late." she said desperately trying to end the conversation. Camila looked at her strangely but nodded her head nonetheless. They walked quickly to the class.
"Sorry, we're late." Lauren panted.
"Ah, nice of you to join us, Ms. Jauregui." Professor Tuck said coldly. Then only he realised that Lauren had an accompany."And Ms.Cabello?" he raised his brows surprised."The discipline Gryffindor being late?"
"Uh," Camila uttered.
"Professor, It was my fault, really." Lauren lied which earned a smack on her forearm.
"Laur, what are you doing?" Camila gritted through her teeth. Lauren just shushed her and giving her a knowing expression.
"10 points from Slytherin, then." Professor Tuck said with a smug smile. This man had always hated Lauren on a whole other level. No one understood why. The slyths were glaring her down because of the lost points. She shrugged vaguely. Tuck gestured them to take a sit and continued the class like no one has interrupted him.
"Today," he breathed out."We're gonna learn about a love potion which is called Amortentia." he started. Lauren's eyes widened.
"Fuck!" Lauren exclaimed.
"Language, Ms.Jauregui!" he barked."I would ask you to stay outside but since you have a problem learning this, I'm gonna ask you to stay and keep you mouth shut." he said irritated.
"Yes, sir." she mumbled. Zayn smirked in victory. After this, there's no excuse for Lauren to avoid the dare that she herself agreed to. Zayn knew it's not hard for Lauren to master in brewing potion.
"A brew which causes the drinker to become infatuated or obsessed with the person who gave it. It is considered to be powerful and highly dangerous." he informed seriously glancing at all of the students.
"However," he raised his voice."true love cannot be produced through artificial mean, thus the feelings that Love Potion create are more like obsession than affection."
