Blaze's eyes landed on a tall, well endowed woman, dressed rather promiscuous in mostly reds. Her raven hair covered her right eye and grazed the back of her thighs. Blaze didn't even notice her wings, however due to the glint it caused by the sunlight she could catch it. It was borderline transparent, the only obvious shape that formed the wings was the shine that wrapped around her body. Many were gazing upon her assets.

"Lustrious," Blaze heard Adrian say, his distaste for the lady was evident.

"Adrian," she cooed back. Her voice was sweet, tempting, like a seductress.

He sighed and turned his head away, "Do you need something? What happened to the last toy I gave you?"

She seated herself, leaning toward him, "Oh, but Adrian, you know they don't hold my interest for long. Not matter how you may distract me, I'll always end in the same place."

"That's unfortunate, you know you don't hold hold my interest for long. I'm surprised you haven't given up yet, your advances never work."

A small chuckle, "I'm surprised you haven't figured it out yet, your indifference is why so many go after you. That and your status."

Swift was cringing at the exchange of sarcasm and flirtatious remarks.

And as sudden as the arrival of Lustrious, Blaze was removed from the scene. The unexpected jolt caused her body to freeze and her head rapidly turn, attempting to grasp her situation and location.

Okay, focus on what you know. The abductor is flying at high speeds, and judging by how I'm being held, it doesn't seem like I'm going to be let go. It smells like daffodils. Wait, daffodils?

Blaze looked up to be greeted by Chaim's gentle smile.

"Don't worry, I'm going to take us home." Chaim's voice always had a reassuring touch to it, Blaze calmed for a bit until she remembered where 'home' was.

She struggled for her freedom from his grasp. He stopped and landed.

---

Blaze pushed him away. She looked angry, or hurt. Perhaps both. Either way, Chaim felt guilty and the flames her wings created didn't help.

"I'm not going back there," her voice cracked.

He hesitated before responding, "Why not?"

"You know why."

He did know. She hated being in Legna, complained about it to him every chance she got and always said she was envious that he was able to come and go as he pleased. He tried not to encourage her going herself, bring parts of Ertha hoping it would contain her adventurous spirit she obtained from her mother. He felt immensely guilty about it, knowing full well he was manipulating her under royal orders, but it was necessary.

"Why did you come after me?" she asked, her eyes telling him that she lost all confidence in him.

That thought struck him deeply... so he lied, "I... I missed you. When I'm not around you in Legna, it just feels odd, so I went to go find you."

Her face softened at those words, the guilt was killing him slowly inside.
