Chapter 4: Books and Movies

Ethan's POV

The day after we went home, me and Enzo stayed in my room for the whole time. Around 3:00AM, we had a movie marathon.

We watched The Fault in our Stars which is my favorite book and started Enzo to be interested in reading books.

"I hate the part when Gus died." With nakakainis na tone.

I laughed. "Its part of the story! Silly."

He groaned. "Eh kahit na! Kawawa kaya si Hazel, its better if both of them died. Eternal Love!"

"And what do you know about eternal love? Ikaw ah!"

"Uhm I read books?" He smiled.

"Shut up little boy." I looked at him in the eyes then I squint. "May crush ka no?"

"WHAT? Wala ah!" with a defensive tone.

"Naku Benjamin 2!" I smiled. "Tell me? Is she in UK? or here in the PH?"

Kumunot ang noo niya. "Duh? As if I'm hanging out with anyone on UK?! And on the PH? We just came back!"

"Edi wala! Defensive ah?" I laughed. "Ok, next movie! Choose." I said.

I let him choose the movie from my laptop.

"Well I guess, another John Green." He pointed the latest motion picture from John Green and smiled like a puppy.

"You love John Green already?"

"YEP! And actually, I am currently reading this." Kinuha niya yung Looking for Alaska.

I smiled. "Okay Paper Towns."

"Wait!" He shouted.

"What?" I replied.

"Can we go to the bookstore tomorrow? Lets buy more books."

"Akala ko naman kung ano, well okay." I said then I played the movie.

After the movie, natulog na rin kami kasi sobrang late na.

I went down after brushing my teeth and fixing myself.

Wala na rin sa tabi ko si Enzo paggising ko, nauna na siguro siya sa baba para magbreakfast.

When I went down, naririnig kong tumatawa si Yaya Marie sa may dining area so I went there para syempre magbreakfast na rin.

Damn its like 4 hours lang yung tulog ko so medyo makirot ang mata ko.

"And thats what happened ya! Hahaha diba I told you I'm the best!" Enzo said with conviction.

I sit down and took a hotdog. "Ano na namang pinagmamalaki mo kay yaya ha?" I took a bite then poured a milk in my glass.

"Nothing! I just told her that I'm number one in school in the UK, and I won the quiz bee." he said while chewing.

"Your mouth" I pointed his mouth.

"Oops!" He drank milk from his glass. "Sorry!" He smiled.

He kept on telling stories from yaya marie while he eats.

Kumuha pa ako ng hotdog then garlic rice, kumuha rin ako ng ketchup.

I drank more milk and pinuno ko rin ito after drinking.
