I walked to the door, and walked out. The door slammed shut behind me, and I then heard the bell ring loudly. It rang in my ears a little while after it had ended, and I had a hard time thinking during the process. I shook my head, and looked at my phone. It was third block. Great. I missed two blocks because of that asshole who calls himself cool. I quickly moved to my next block, and once I got there I walked inside. Jackson had been sitting in the room. Once he saw me he looked down at his desk, and it caused me to smile. I enjoyed seeing him like this. It was funny. I also saw his girlfriend sitting next to him, and she gave me an evil look before starting to comfort Jackson. I sat down in my seat, and looked down for the whole class just wanting this class to roll by.
With the luck I've been having though the ending if the class had became the slowest part of my day. Mainly because Jackson's girlfriend had the nerve to try to talk to me. I just ignored her until she went away. I knew that she would bicker at me during lunch so I was just waiting until that point. The Bell finally rang, and I was finally able to go to lunch. I wasn't necessarily hungry I just wanted to get the day over with. I walked to the cafeteria, and sat at a small table that no one ever sat. I sat there for about five minutes before Kayla (Jackson's girlfriend), and her group of friends came over to the table. Along with Jackson. I looked up at them and smiled.
"Nice contacts." Kayla said with a smile that told me she was impressed.
"Not contacts. Real."
"Bullshit."
"I'm telling you the truth."
"I heard that you hurt Jackson here badly. He's pretty shaken up by what you did."
"Good. Did he tell you why I hurt him?"
"No. I'm sure that there was no real reason though." I stood up, and walked around.
"Oh, but that's where your wrong. You see your little asshole of a boyfriend here pinned me up to a wall, and started to kiss me. Probably better than when he kisses you." I look at Jackson feeling my anger rise. "Isn't that right Jackson?" No answer. "He can't even answer. Because he knows its true."
"That's bullshit. Jackson wouldn't cheat on me with... You. I mean look at you your..."
"Obviously pretty enough for Jackson to want me. Sorry asshole. I already have a boyfriend. Now Kayla." I laugh and look at her feeling my anger begin to rise more. "I would suggest you leave this table before you experience the same thing Jackson did." I walk back over to where I was sitting, and look at Kayla. Her face was one of disbelief. Jackson grabbed her hand trying to get her to move away, but she pulled away, and put her hands on thd table giving me a smirk any smart ass would give you.
"Listen princess if you think that you can scare me... You're wrong." I saw Jackson walk away, and I smiled.
"Then you're a fool. Ladies... If you don't want to get hurt I suggest you leave. All of you."
"No we're staying here." I smiled, and put my hands on my hips.
"You're making a big mistake."
"How so?" I smiled and moved my hands up to see all the other girls except Kayla go flying.
"That's how." I say smiling at her. "Goodbye Kayla." Is all I say before moving my hands forward, and seeing her go flying herself. I quickly moved out of the cafeteria, but before I got far I had someone grab my arm, and pull me towards them.
"You to the office now." Said the officer that stood at the door of the cafeteria who always guarded the cafeteria. I sighed, and pulled my arm away from him. I moved to the office quickly, and walk in. I saw the principle walking out of his office, and I sighed loudly aggravated that I was even here.
"Ms. Martinez. In my office please." He said in a soft, but demanding voice. I walked into the office, and watched as he walked in, and closed the door behind him.
"Explain to me please why you're in my office." He said crossing his arms over each other.
"I'm pretty sure you already know why." I say trying to look down at the ground, and not at him.
"Well I don't find it very okay. I also don't appreciate you looking at down at the ground instead of at me. It's very disrespectful." I look up at him, and his face becomes one of confusion. "You know we don't allow different colored contacts in the school. Only the natural colors. Please take those out."
"I can't."
"Yes you can. Please do."
"I'm telling you... I can't."
"Why?"
"Because they aren't contacts."
"Alright young lady I am going to call your father." He says sitting down at the desk, and picking up the phone.
"Go ahead. I have nothing to hide from my father. No reason to lie to him."
"Good." He dialed a few numbers until I could hear the phone ringing. I then heard someone say hello from the other side. "Mr. Martinez. I have called you today because your daughter had gotten into a... Fight I suppose, and hurt a few of the girls. I would really appreciate if you would come pick her." He paused before continuing to talk. "No. I think because this is the first time she's ever gotten in trouble I think that she should have a second chance. This is the only chance she will be getting though. I would suggest you discipline her more." I scoff at his words, and try to calm myself before I did anything worse. "Alright. Goodbye Mr. Martinez." He put the phone on the device, and looked at me. "I really hope that tomorrow will be a better day for you Ms. Martinez."
"You know. I think that if you ask people what had happened that day you wouldn't send them home. You also wouldn't say to their parents that they need to be disciplined. In fact it would be the other people. Unless they're too popular, and too liked for you to send home." I walk out of the office, and through the actual office hearing the principal call for my name. I ignored him, and walked out of the school to see my father's car. I got in, and he have me a look of concern.
"What happened?" My father asked driving out of the school parking lot.
"Would you believe me or would you pretend to believe me?" I ask buckling.
"Ella what's gotten into you?"
"Nothing. I just wanna go home. Is that okay with you?"
"Yes. We can go home." We drive in silence for the rest of the ride, and once we got home I got out of the car, and ignored my father trying to call me over to him. Once I was inside I quickly moved upstairs, and walked into my room. I found Taylor looking through my desk.
"What do you think you're doing?" I ask her causing her to yell, and move away from the desk. "I'm not gonna ask again."
"I was... Just looking."
"Through my room. This is the one place I can have privacy. Can you respect that, or are you gonna take that away from me too?" She scoffed, and put her hand on her hip. "Leave my room." I say before she could say anything. She listened and left the room. I closed the door behind her, and then through my bag on my bed. I leaned against the door, and put my hands on my face. I moved to the floor still leaning against the door, and thought of the events today that lead up to this. I then heard a door open, and heard Andrew's voice. I then heard footsteps walking up the stairs, and a knock on my door. I stood up quickly, and opened it to see Andrew there.
"Andrew." I say feeling sadness come over me.
"I know. Come here." He said pulling me into a hug. I then started to cry quietly, and then me and Andrew moved into my room. He moved my bag, and we played on the bed. He held me for a while, and then I fell asleep.
