Chapter Thirteen: So Far Not So Good

~Katie's POV~

"Here you are, enjoy!'' The waitress smiled as she gave us our food and walked away.

"Thanks for all of this Niall." I smiled as i started to dig into my salad.

"No problem Babe, it's the least i can do for you." He smiled as he ate his grilled cheese.

"Ooo that looks yummy." I said as i grabbed a french fry and ate it.

"That was my french fry." He pouted.

"Well it was damn good." I laughed as he followed. Damn his laugh its contagious.

"So how do you think the kids are." I asked nervously.

"Babe I'm sure they're fine." He smiled as he finished his grilled cheese.

"But were talking about Harry and Kyrstin here." I said finishing my food.

"Yeah you're right lets go." He said as he left a tip and went to the front of the restaurant and paid as i left for out side and across the street to our car.

Next thing I know i heard people screaming. I was confused, i was still breathing and all but i was falling in a world of Dark Ness.

~Niall's POV~

I was just Paying for our meals after I heard a screech and something getting hit. First I thought it was an accident and accidents always happen near this street, but when I turned around, nor did i see blood on the ground but I saw Katie.

"Katie!!" I screamed as I ran out side as fast as I can.

"Don't worry sir we called the ambulance." The man said getting out of the car.

"Your the one who hit her." I growled looking at him.

"It was an accident." He slurred.

"You're drunk." I said as I clenched my knuckles together.

"So man it's alright, who cares if she is dead." He laughed.

"I care." I yelled as my fists made in contact with the guys face.

I jumped on him and next thing I know I have his blood all over my hands.

"Hey!!" I heard whistles and sirens everywhere, next thing I know I'm picked up and hand cuffed.

"Let me go I need too see my Girl Friend!!" I cried out as the pulled me into their cop car.

"We will let you see your Girl Friend on watch right now your going to jail for 1 year." He said before shutting the door.

One Year in Jail, i can't do this! What have I done.

~Harry's POV~

"Thank god the kids are asleep." I said as I sat on the couch cuddling next to Kyrstin.

"I know." She giggled as the phone rang.

"But no silence." I chuckled as she grabbed it.

"Hello Horan residence." She smiled as it faded.

"Umm just a minute Niall." She said as she handed me the phone.

"Hey Niall." I said into the phone.

"Harry, how are the kids." He asked.

"There good why." I asked.

"Well i wont see them or Katie for a year." He said his voice getting softer.

"Why Niall." I asked.

"You guys need to go to the hospital tomorrow morning." He said.

"Niall explain now!" I yelled.

"Harry I'm in Jail for a year, Katie is in the hospital, she was hit by a drunk driver and i basically beat up the drunk driver, ill be fine but i have to go now, don't cone visit me! I don't want Katie to visit me either." He said softly.

"Ohh i will visit you but i will not let anyone else come, ill bring you updates." I said.

"Ok thank you Harry i have to go bye.." He said before hanging up the phone.

I hit end as i put the phone away.

"What happened." Kyrstin asked.

"Ill tell you later, lets go to bed." I said softly.

I watched as she nodded and cuddled up to me on the couch.

I can't believe this is happening, and to think when Katie and Niall got Home, he was going to propose.
