(Y/N): Hey... Barney.

Barney: Heys (Y/N)s! What's yous doings?

(Y/N): I called to ask you for a favor.

Barney: A favors for whats?

(Y/N): Something special for... Ross. I want him to be my date for the Christmas party tomorrow.

Barney: Sures! Whats do yous wants me to do?

I told him the details and hung up.

"HEY ALEASA I WILL BE BACK I AM GOING TO THE PARK!" I screamed so she would hear me.

"Okay, be careful." She said running to give me a hug.

I borrowed a bike they had and rode to the park.

I sat on a bench, it was going to be sunset in half an hour. I stared at my phone memorizing lyrics. I pulled a bow out of my narwhal hoodie. It was a red bow that faded into black as it ended.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Ross said.

"Hey, sit down." I said standing up.

I pulled out my guitar and sat next to him.

"What are you doing?" Ross said looking at me.

I pulled out a camera and snapped a picture of us. I had a huge smile on my face, he had a small smirk.

"That was amazing (Y/N)!" Ross said.

"Ross, I know we... kinda just met today. And it's weird. But, I really like you. I can't say so much that I love you, because I don't know who you are. And I want to get to know you better. So, Ross will you be my date for the Christmas party tomorrow?" I asked taking his hand.

"Why would I say no!"

"Thank you Ross you are the best," I giggled.

"So what do we do now?" He asked.

"Want to go get food? I am starving!" I laughed.

"Sure, dinner sounds nice," I packed my things up and we walked to the car hand in hand.

We walked the bike back to Adam and Aleasa's. We drove to Outback and grabbed a table.

"So, (Y/N), tell me about yourself," He asked holding my hand. I could feel my face heat up.

"Well I have a twin brother name Samuel, and Aleasa is our older sister. My birthday is October 31. I broke things off with my boyfriend six months ago because he cheated on me. My parents died, and my twin brother hates me " I could feel tears falling down my face.

The pain and reality of my life broke me in every way. My biggest fear was always ending up alone... and that's what happened. I'm alone.

Ross pulled me by the hand and out of Outback and into his car. I silently sobbed as we drove. We eventually stopped parked in Adam and Aleasa's drive way. Ross held me as I cried. I clutched onto his hoodie and the tears seemed to be endless. Ross rubbed my back trying to sooth my aching soul. Rain slowly fell from the sky, as if it felt my pain and it cried with me.

"(Y/N), I really like you too," Ross stated as he kissed my forehead.

I had stopped crying, Ross never let go.

"Don't leave me... please Ross," I whispered breaking the silence.

"I won't, come on let's go inside."

We walked inside. I held onto his arm like a child, but I didn't care. Ross was my sheild protecting me. As we walked in the door Adam was watching television, while Aleasa rocked Mason.

"Hey," I greeted smiling.

"Sup guys," Adam waved.

Mason started to cry.

"Here give me that baby," I ran over to Aleasa and took Mason from her.

I sat down on the couch and rocked Mason to sleep. Ross sat down next to me smiling.

ROSS' POINT OF VIEW

I looked at (Y/N) rocking Mason, she had this motherly side to her. She giggled.

"What?" I asked. She pointed towards Aleasa, she had fallen asleep.

Adam laughed and made Aleasa go to bed. Adam waved and said goodnight. (Y/N) rocked Mason and walked him upstairs to the nursery.

'I was falling in love, with a girl who I know I would be happy with. She was my everything. And in the matter of a day, I found all of this out.'
