Stuffing my phone in to my cosmetology apron I let out a groan as I finished cutting my clients ends.
"Girl what's up with you lookin like you about to cry and shit." Candice stated making the whole shop laugh and look at me.
"King is what's wrong with me." Unlike many other shops Candice's wasn't messy but we knew not to say certain things around certain clients but none were in here at the moment.
"What that fine specimen do." Rolling my eyes playfully at Rain who worked here with me along with Leslie who was sadly off.
"He's teasing me, keeps sending me pictures videos and text messages and stuff like chill."
"Wait Mrs.virgin Mary popped that cat and didn't tell us." Playfully gasping and holding her hand to her chest my client shook her head laughing.
"She busted that shit like a month ago." Rain said snitching me out.
"I want details Queen."
"Well I would love to give them to you guys but I'm finished with my last client for the day and if I'm not mistaken that's my man about to walk in that door." As if on cue he walked in the door making the chimes go off and the shop to fall silent.
"How much do I owe you?"
"75" nodding her head she dug in her purse handing me a 100$ bill.
"Keep the change-"
"Now you know I can't-"
"Keep it child my husband about to wear this shit out again anyways it's the least I can do he got me coming to see you once a week." Pulling me in to a hug I gently hugged her back.
"Now this young man of yours is cute keep him around." She whispered it so only I could hear and waved bye to everyone on her way out.
"Hey baby." Kissing my check he grabbed my purse off my station.
"Don't hey baby me I'm mad at you." Pouting my face up I started cleaning up my station.
"What I do?" I sent him that nigga you know look causing him to laugh and suck his teeth.
"Not my fault you act like a mfn nymph."
"Shut up"laughing I took off my apron and folded it up placing it on my counter top and handed him my phone.
"You wore dis shit all day"
"No I just decided to change because I knew you were coming." I replied sarcastically as I slid my leather jacket over my fitted Nike hoody.
Turning in the mirror my ass sat perfectly in my matching Nike joggers it wasn't the fattest but in these I could give Nicki Minaj a run for her money.
Let me stop lying but I could give somebody a run for the money.
"Stop bein a smart ass all the time." Smacking my ass he pushed me against the chair in my section. Making me laugh as I fell against it.
"You always being rough." Lifting up I grabbed my empty shampoo and conditioner bottles so I could refill them in the back and he sat down in my chair.
"You wasn't saying that last night when you-" sitting the bottles down I quickly turned around covering his mouth with my hands as everybody in the shop started laughing.
"King you're so annoying I swear." Rolling my eyes he pulled me back to him placing kisses all over my face making me laugh.
"Okaaay. Let me finish so we can go." Pulling away a grabbed the bottles again and quickly headed to back refilling them then heading back to the front.
