Ugh! My parents are arguing again! They've argued at least once a week ever since my birthday. "Come on John it's time we tell her,she's going to find out someday!" I heard my mom yell, I thought they were talking about me so I crept downstairs and listened. "Elizabeth how would you feel if the people you've called mom and dad your whole life suddenly told you that you're adopted?" I gasped and yelled "What?" "Oh honey you weren't supposed to find out like this." my "mom" said. "Were you ever going to tell me?" I asked. "I wanted to but your father wouldn't let me." "Well excuse me for wanting to keep it a secret from our daughter!" he said. "I am not your daughter and what happened to never keeping secrets from each other dad?" I asked but I didn't get an answer because I ran up to my room and cried.
