Connor's pov:

"You need to get laid!" Kian exclaimed when I get back to the kitchen from putting Zack down for his daytime nap. Kian and Jc decided to drop by to hangout but it soon turned into them mocking me about my love life. They knew I was gay and that I hadn't had a boyfriend since Zack came into my life but they didn't see that I didn't have time for a relationship. Yes I got lonely and missed being kissed or touched but I had Zack to care for, I didn't need anyone else nor had any time for it.

"Yeah dude," Jc said in agreement. "When was the last time you got fúcked or fúcked someone?" He chuckled. My face went bright red at his blunt question.

"Jc!" I squealed. "What kind of question is that?"

"A question. So what's the answer?" I stayed quiet, too embarrassed to answer.

"Oh my god Con. You're a virgin!" Kian shouts loudly and I swear my face is a tomato at this point because yes it's true. I'm a virgin. At least with a guy I am. The farthest I've gone was second base and that was only because I got too freaked out and ran.

"Shut up," I mutter as I begin to make myself an iced coffee. Kian and Jc look at each other and smirk and then they look back at me. Uneasiness pools in my stomach. "What are you guys planning?"

"Nothing," they say in unison.

"Right," I say knowing its something but decide to drop it and drink my coffee, instantly feeling much better.

"We should go out tonight," Jc says as he flicks through the movies on Netflix, finding nothing.

"Yeah," Kian nods.

"Guys if this about earlier then no. Besides, who's gonna watch Zack?" I say. Kian smiles softly.

"Con, Zack knows you love him more than anything in this world and I'm pretty sure Nicola didn't want you to throw away your life just to raise him. You do enough for him and it's time for you to do something for yourself," he says and he's got me there.

When my sister died and made me Zack's guardian, she wanted me to raise Zack as if he was my own but also for me to continue living my life and be happy. And I do think of Zack as my own and I'm happy, but I kinda put a halt to my life for him and I don't regret it at all. Sometimes I do wish I had time for myself and to hang out with friends but I don't. Thankfully I had friends like Keen and Jc that help me and haven't forgotten about me.

"I know, but I don't think I'm ready for a relationship though."

"We're not forcing you to find a guy right away and jump him, we just want you to have fun for once."

"I-"

"And no, playing tag and go fish isn't considered fun. At least not for an adult," Jc interjects knowing what I was about to say. I sigh.

"So what do you say? Wanna hang out tonight?"

"Whose gonna watch Zack?" I ask.

"What about Joey?" Kian suggests. I shake my head.

"No, him and Daniel just got back from their honeymoon and I doubt they want to watch a child," I say.

"But they love Zack! And if they plan on having kids they should at least have some practice," Jc explains and he does prove a good point but I don't just wanna drop Zack on them out of nowhere.

"I'll call him to ask."

"Yay!" Kian jumps. "We'll pick you up at seven. Look hot," he says standing up and walking to the door. Jc follows and I walk them out seriously hoping I don't regret agreeing to going out.
