always seek the light

We arrange where everyone is going to sleep. The people who don't normally stay here have to get the okay from their parents.

Britain and I take the boys up to our room and put on a movie. After much debate, we choose She's the Man.

This movie is great! I've watched it millions of times. Ananda Bynes part in it is still equal to perfection.

Britain and I push our beds together and climb on. Eventually the boys join us. Britain and I on the inside of the beds with Coen, Jaegar, Jafari, Manson, Aeixo, and Reese somewhere around us.

I didn't realize the river had tired me out, but my eyes start to close.

I awake to the sounds of birds chirping. How peaceful.
I stretch my arms to see that I can't move every far. I'm being hugged like a teddy bear by Manson, who's on my right side. I look over him to see Reese practically on top of Manson and I. Aeixo is laying on my legs, curled up and cuddling them. Coen somehow ended up in between Britain and I and is facing me with Britain laying on top of him. I shake my head with a laugh. Wow, if only I could get a picture of this. Jafari and Jaegar are on the other side of Britain, with Jaegar practically spooning Britain. Jafari is laying across their feet.

I relax back into Manson's embrace and Aeixo's hold on my legs and find myself drifting away again. The last thought on my mind being how well this group of friends has fit in with eachother, and how close knit we've become; with the exception of Reese, Aeixo and Manson who are new to the group but fit in just as well.

What is that sound? It's annoying. I groan lowly and try to go back to sleep.

I try to pull the pillow over my head but the pillow is unusually warm and small. Ugh I have to wake up.

I open my eyes groggily to see that the "pillow" I pulled over my head was actually Coen's hand. Whoops.

I slowly sit up, careful not to disturb anyone around me. The first sight I see is the trashed room. Whoa. Did we do all this? Jeez. The next thing my blurry eyes focus on is a figure-my mother- standing in the doorway with a camera.

My eyes widen, then I tightly shut them. I lie back down and put Coens hand back on my face. I groan heavily and try to shoo her away with motions of my foot. She doesn't take the hint. I drift off into sleep again.

holy cRAP.

Who's evil idea was this? My fathers? Probably. I try desperately to shelter myself from the cold but only succeed in getting an elbow to the face.

Coen's off the bed in a second and running out the door screaming. What a baby.

I quickly reach for Manson and surprisingly he's still there! Yes! My savior! He's awake also, and already sheltering me from the wetness of the water balloon someone's pelting us with.

"I got you, Elle." Manson whispers to me.

"WAKEY WAKEY! It's 12:00 in the afternoon! TIME TO GET UP AND BE PRODUCTIVE!" I peek over Manson's shoulder and see Reese standing in my doorway with a bucket of water balloons.
