"I will burn this city down just to show you the light."

hold you in his arms you can feel his disease. come together right now, over meAfter the dramatic and mystifying talk with Aeixo that left us both confused, the group splits up for the day.
Everyone goes to their respective homes.
From there, Britain and I pretty much chill for the day and I try to make sense of the mess of jumbled words inside of my head.
I lay down on my bed and close my eyes. Hmm.
Why would I be having dreams like this? It just doesn't make sense. Maybe it's nothing, Maybe these dreams are just my wild imagination manifesting into something.
I don't know, but I need to figure it out.
Why is it suddenly so cold in here? I shiver, opening my eyes to look for a blanket.
Only, they won't open. My eyelids are practically glued to my eyeballs, refusing to let me see.
I scream, trying to fight the darkness that seems to be quickly consuming me.
My body convulses and I reach up, trying to pry my eyes open.
Help. I think, Anyone, help me.
And then, silence. I drop my hands as if I'm in a trance. My eyelids flutter open, slowly adjusting to the harsh light.
Ow. Has no one heard of a dimmer? Sheesh, this is giving me a headache.
But wait, I have a dimmer. In my room.
So...what.. is this??
I look around quickly, my eyes slowly adjusting.
Whoa.
Once the bright stops scalding my precious, precious eyeballs, I'm greeted with a marvelous sight.
Lyra...Er..me...is sitting down on a ledge of some sort, dangling her feet off of it. .
I seem to be sitting still, no movement for a minute or two. My hand starts to move, eyelids flickering. Then I hear the whistle in the wind, the whip back and forth like a candle about to go out.
And then it does. The entire scene goes black. I can faintly see the outline of someone hiding. I look to my hand and see an orb of some sort, a light. The light glows once, twice, thrice, and then explodes. I squeeze it and then fling it, releasing the orb into the sky and flooding it with light.
I giggle loudly, grinning to myself and then looking down at my feet again. Swinging my legs back and forth.
I'm not entirely sure what I've just witnessed, but what a sight it was. I just took the sun right from the earth. The light, the heat, the entire galaxy of stars. There was no twinkle-twinkle or how-I-wonder-ing where they were because I knew where they were. The Stars were in my hand. I had taken an entire universe's source of light into the palm of my hand within seconds, and then put it back. Then I giggled.
I have the nerve to giggle. What the heck? What kind of demented monster finds joy in...I don't even know what it's called! Ugh.
As my thoughts swarm my head and cloud my eyes, I don't notice Lyra suddenly start talking to herself, or the sky starting to flicker.
I do zone back in when the talking becomes yelling and I shout, "Leave me alone! Get OUT!", holding my head in my hands and screaming.
After a couple seconds of standing there in shocked silence, a body pushes out from behind wherever it was hiding. They run, screaming, to Lyra-me. Begging me to stop, to tell them what's wrong, to let them help me.
