Chapter 1

Jasper's P.O.V

We came home to Forks after Bella bought Edward back from the Volturi. Everything was back to how it was except for the wolves of course, and that Alice my ex-wife has now a new mate his name is John.

He is a good match for her he was turned in 1920 dark hair gold eyes as we have and like Alice has a fondness for shopping.

He like to keep up to date on clothes and shoes which Alice fell for. The divorce was smooth and no argument on my part.

I saw how happy he made her and his feelings were genuine I could tell.

We all were relaxing from the new born attack that happens only a few days ago.

I made a decision to go to Brazil for a while. As I packed and headed out I was greeted with hugs and see you laters.

The run wasn't too long and I safely came to my area that I had bought. It was in the forest but in the middle was a secret waterfall.

I go to my waterfall but stop short the stood a tiny naked girl bathing calmly without a care.

She had a petite body but with beautiful hips a round butt and a maybe B sized chest. Her skin was fair as a vampires her hair dark short a choppy bob.

I was quick to hold my breath but I noticed she has no scent. I was frozen when she turned her dark lashes flutter open revealing black eyes.

She had an innocent look sweet kind she smiles my way and walks closer.

"Hello, who are you sir?" She asked her voice was soft. "Jasper Hale ma'am" I reply to which I feel a slight annoyance and look at her questionably.

"I don't take kindly to lying Mr. Jasper" she says. I see knowing in her eyes. "I'm sorry ma'am force of habit. I am Major Jasper Whitlock." She smiles then " I am Nightingale Shadowblood, but I prefer to be called Night please."

I look away from her and she lets out a small chuckle. I hear her came out of the water and the sound of clothes. I turn and she her in only what seemed a robe but similar to a dress.

I was curious on what she was. She smiles sweetly, "I'll tell you if you tell me about yourself" I was shocked but comply.

I was shocked how I told her everything about me so easily. She smiles at the happy times and tears up at the bad ones. I felt her instant devotion to me. So strange I felt loyalty and happiness.

She yawns and I tell her to rwst she could do her share another day. She compiles n lays her head on my lap n sleeps.

She was precious and I felt the need to protect so I take her to my cottage and lay her on my bed and sit in my living room couch reading. Awaiting her awakening curious on her story.
