Clark was looking for people to go with her to Mt. Weather. No one wanted to go of course. I mean who would want to go into a radiation filled forest.
Octavia volunteered which got her a frown from Bellamy and a big no. I quickly stepped in and volunteered to go which got a nasty look from Clark but she just ended up nodding not wanting to get into another fight.
Octavia ended up getting her way and getting to go on the trip. Bellamy came to me and said " Please watch out for her she's all I have left". " Don't worry about it Bellamy I will watch her" I said with a small laugh, thinking of how much of a dad he acts towards Octavia.
We gathered the supplies we could which was a small knife that I carried and one that I gave to Octavia and Jasper. The people that were in the group were Clark, Jasper, Finn, Octavia and I.
We set off walking a couple of miles before finding a small pond.
Before we could even say anything Octavia was already jumping in the water. Some of us were about to join her when we saw something moving in the water.
" Octavia get out!!" I yelled while watching the creature swim quickly towards her.
Before she could even make a move the creature snatched onto her leg and dragged her under the water.
I didn't even have time to think before I realized that I had actually jumped in the water. The group that was on land were throwing rocks into the water to distract it.
I swam over to Octavia and pulled her towards the shore seeing that her leg was injured.
But before we could make it back to the shore the monster grabbed my legged and dragged me back into the middle of the lake. When I came back up for air I screamed for Octavia to get out. Jasper had jumped in and pulled her back onto shore.
Finn started throwing rocks out at the creature. It had pulled me back under the water, trying to drown me.
I could feel my lungs burning from lack of oxygen. And I could feel that my leg was pretty badly injured.
Just as I thought I was going to pass out someone grabbed me and pulled me onto shore. I hadn't realize that the creature had released my leg and swam away.
I was choking on water and spitting it out of my mouth. Everyone was staring down at me and Clark came up to get a better look at my leg.
"It's pretty bad we should probably head back to camp to stitch it up." " No I can handle it lets just keep moving." I said as I sat up. I ripped of one of my sleeves and tied it around my leg to stop it from bleeding.
I jumped up and we continued walking. Ever though it was hurting like hell I kept going knowing that we needed the supplies.
We made it up onto a rock trying to cross the river, not wanting to go back into the water we made a plan to rope swing across on a vine.
Jasper was first. I was kinda nervous because he is kind of me friend even though we had only known each other for a couple of hours.
He grabbed the vine and jumped up swinging across the pond. He made it to the other side with everyone cheering him on but as we were cheering a giant spear came and hit jasper.
I stood there looking at Jasper's lifeless body and then a felt someone pulling me. It was Finn yelling at me to run.
We quickly made it to the tree line and sprinted back to camp.
