Today Hanna took Hailey to the doctor for a little checkup and Max is at a play date so it's just me and Lucy
I think we're going to have a fun daddy-daughter day today
I make a special daddy-daughter breakfast. Waffles with whipped cream, strawberries, and bacon
We eat out breakfast together then decide what were going to do today
"How about we go to Build-a-Bear workshop?" Lucy suggests
"That's a great idea Luc!" I say
"Then we can go shopping!!!!!" Lucy exclaims
"Youre just like your mother" I say and laugh to myself
"I am?!" She asks
"Yes! Youre beautiful, hilarious, and you love shopping" I say
"I want to be JUST like mommy when I'm older!" Lucy says
"Why is that?" I ask
"Because I want to marry someone who's just you like daddy" She says and hugs me
"Aww thanks Luc, I love you" I say
"Can we go shopping now?!" Lucy asks
"Before we go anywhere, you have to clean your room" I say
"NO DADDY" Lucy say
"Cmon Luc, you have to" I say
"BUT I DON'T LIKE IT" Lucy yells
"Lucy! Do not yell inside the house!" I say
"BUT I DON'T WANT TO CLEAN MY ROOM" Lucy cries out
"Lucy Elizabeth. If you don't calm down right now, we aren't going shopping" I say
"NO DADDY" Lucy starts crying
"Then clean your room" I say
"NOOOOO" Lucy yells
"Go in a time our right now" I say sternly
"Im sorry daddy I didn't mean to yell at you" Lucy says and cries harder
"That's ok baby, just go in your room and clean it then I'll forgive you and you don't have to do a time out" I say
"Ok but will you help me?" Lucy asks
"Sure baby" I say and go to her room with her
I help Lucy clean her room then we go shopping and she gets a teddy bear from Build-a-Bear workshop and clothes from the mall
Hanna is going to be mad and Lucy for her behavior earlier when I tell her about it, but I have a soft spot for all my kids, I hate being mad at them
