Radiant as Salt Water Waves in the Shimmering Sunlight of Dawn
Sad and distressed
She is frozen in fright
Of the world so beastly
Where smiles cease
And her heart has no delight
Working so hard
But the praise is still unrecieved
So she decides to start changing
And crawls into her cocoon
Where she begins to stop wavering
Slowly slipping deep into a hole
She sees that her old life was all just a joke
Tear stained cheeks
And pained blue eyes
She begins her transition
The poor little girl
You won’t see her anymore
Because she tried
And she turned
And changed herself
Kissing all the flowers
As her wings flutter aimlessly
She is perfection
And now
She is finally praised
Radiant as salt water waves
In the shimmering sunlight of dawn
That broken girl
Is now
The envy of all

Floating through the sky
