*NIALL'S P.O.V*

"Sam. Wake up!" I tried to gently wake her from her deep sleep. But it was not working. I would have to try a different approach.

"WAKE UP! THERE IS A BUFFETT DOWNSTAIRS!"

"SHUT UP NIALL!"

Yep, this was harder than I expected. She obviously needed sleep. "Ya know. If I was you, I would like to sleep in a clean bed in my own house. But that is just me."

"Wait? I get to go home?"

"The doctor released you this morning. We decided to let you sleep. Get whatever you need and meet me downstairs."

*SAM'S P.O.V*

"...and meet me downstairs."

I nodded and attmepted to slide out of bed. It still hurt alot, but I could do it. Alright. Right leg, left leg. Right leg, left- oh I know how to walk. I wadled over to the counter where it looked like Niall had put all my things into a duffle bag. He was so sweet. He was going to make a girl very happy one day. She would really be the luckiest girl on the planet.

I stepped into the elevator and there was a little girl in there with her mom. "Excuse me. Miss? You are very pretty."

I looked down and saw that she was bald. She must have cancer. "Thank you so much. But you are prettier."

"No. I'm not. I'm bald and I will never be pretty enough."

"Don't say that. You are a strong little girl. You are beautiful with or without hair. Don't let anybody tell you any different."

She gave me the biggest hug she could. "Thank you. My name is Mimi."

"Hi Mimi. I'm Samantha. But people call me Sam."

"It was nice to meet you. I have to go this is my floor."

"Stay strong and beautiful. Ok? Bye Mimi."

"Bye Sam."

After stepping out of the elevator her mom mouthed thank you and she had a greatful look on her face. Mimi eagerly pulled her mom towards the waiting nurse. Who picked her up and took her into a room. I feel sorry for her. She is so young. It must be so hard. That was all I could think about until I saw Niall waiting in the lobby.

"You look like you were in some deep thought there."

"I met a girl named Mimi. She is probably like 6 or 7. She has cancer."

"Strong girl."

"Very."

We got in his car and I told her all about Mimi and our conversation. He agreed that she was very strong. It was quiet for a minute then I realized I had no place to stay. "You are staying with me. I had some help. We moved all your belongings from your old flat to my flat."

"You did not have to do that."

"But I wanted to. I know how much you've been through. I just don't want anyone to hurt you or make you feel bad. So I am taking you in."

I mumbled thanks and continued looking out the window. Everything outside was so colorful and vibrant. I just wished my emotions matched. But I just couldnt force myself to feel that way. Niall must mave noticed that I was getting a little distant because he reached over and grabbed my hand and started playing with my fingers. At first it scared me and I was going to pull away, but then I realized that I needed someone to hold my hand through this hard time and make sure that I am ok.

We pulled up his flat and I was surprised at the size, It seemed a bit big for one person. But then again, his family might come into to town every once in a while. I could get used to this but then again I have to get used to it.
