Derek flopped onto his bed exhausted, "Ugh", he groaned as all his muscles realigned with the mattress, and he yawned tiredly.

He'd spent all his energy with Stiles, who really should be renamed; the kid asked way too many questions. Their trip had extended to two and a half a weeks rather than one week. He'd called the School and confirmed as the reasoning being the school had flooded and the board of Directors had shut down the school for another week, till the pipes were fixed.

It was an odd stretch of luck, and Stiles had laughed raucously, crowing about 'Justice' finally rendered.

A call to The Sheriff had confirmed, they should have another week in the woods, for now that the locked words Stiles had kept in, had been releasedScott seemed to have realized he'd left behind a friend, he should have guarded carefully.

John had wanted to punish, but Stiles was still hurt and had taken the gift as it was, another week of freedom, before responsibility struck again. And to him, it wasn't like he was taking normal school classes, technically he was at school, and it would be marked in his record, as such.

Grabbing the pillow he inhaled the scents combined and huffed as Peter's and Cora's scent saturated the material. Not that he could blame them, he'd spent the full moon mostly in awe, as Stiles leant against him, pointing up at the sky and wondering why that twitchy feeling of the moon's pull hadn't affected him, as badly or as painfully or as energetically as it had when he'd never been near this boy.

Then again the human was beyond baffling.

Snuggling into the pillow, where Cora and Peter must have settled in his loft, when he'd been away, he could feel their pain and fear, and their shock, the bonds no doubt breaking away.

Sighing he reached for his phone;

"Hey", he greeted as soon as Cora picked up.

'Derek!' Cora chirped. 'Where are you?' she asked quietly, almost warily.

"At the Loft", he answered sitting up, "How soon can you and Peter get free, and meet me here?" he asked.

'We can be there in ten minutes', Peter answered. 'It wasn't fun', he grumbled.

"I know. I apologize. Come soon", he hung up even as his eyes glowed red and the tear of missing his pack fell.

Derek blinked as his phone buzzed, looking down he smiled at the message:
