Jacqueline stood on the platform, "Thank you all for coming today", she started, "First of all allow me to introduce you to two special people. My sister and the original teacher Evelyn Black and her student Kira Yukimura", she waved at both of them.

Kira grinned and waved once whilst Evelyn yawned.

Stiles bit down on a grin that threatened to form as both Derek and Jacqueline rolled their eyes in sync, at her insolence.

"Now there is an event of a sort that is happening here right at this very moment. I need to ask all of you", she paused and "How many of you are familiar with the term The Breakout Project?" she asked.

Stiles looked up sharply eyes on Derek who nodded once cuttingly.

Out of the thirteen members six raised their hands, they were; Raven, Simone, Elsa, Jeffery, Jack and Stiles of course.

Klaus raised his head, "What is the Breakout Project?" he asked curiously.

Jacqueline nodded, "An innovative concept introduced by the Government to find geniuses. The Breakout Project started in at least seven schools nationwide. A question was placed incognito in an exam, not related to the syllabus. Nine out of Ten students ignored it, of the remaining one percent—half questioned their teacher of its existence the other half solved it...well, attempted to solve it. It wasn't an easy question to answer. The first code was cracked by a friend of mine, she was the little sister of a friend's roommate, and well she's gifted to say the least. The second was selected in Ohio, the third in Wisconsin, the fourth Colorado, in California and in New York, of the few students selected, two are in this room as I state this", she explained.

Except for Stiles the five students who recognized the term, gasped loudly and turned to each other in awe.

"What does it entail?" Aasra asked curiously as she looked at them, trying to understand the excitement.

"The point was to help those few people who needed a chance to breakout from a situation they couldn't shake otherwise—an opportunistic moment, a gamble if you want. They, as in the students would be given a chance to study subjects not in the curriculum of any High School Standard school system that was a yearlong and absolutely free. These subjects are taught online and through a mentorship program. Because there were only seven students chosen across the country, the joint class are mostly handled by only those seven teachers hired and via a group skype session, only the teachers have access to the skype sessions. A student of The Breakout Project is allowed to leave the project at any time. The qualifying exam is taken by an overseer to whom the Teachers and their fellow colleagues answer to directly. They belong to a hierarchy within the Mentorship program offered in New York University", she answered in detail.
