Tipping his head up, the Alpha released a howl to let his warriors know that he is on his way. Without another moments hesitation, he began to run towards the North of the Pack territory where his warriors had linked him about having a few rouges held captive. They stated they were friendly and meant no harm but who would believe the words that leave the mouths of filthy rouges?
Glancing behind him at his Beta, he nodded and watched as his Beta and a few other warriors broke off from the group to patrol other areas of the territory. These 'friendly' rouges could just be a distraction while other rouges infiltrate the pack grounds while the Alpha is distracted.
Looking back ahead, Alpha Harris growled as he pushed his legs to go faster.
If someone were to ask him why he hated rouges so much, his simple answer would be, I don't know. Ever since he was a little boy he had heard all these stories from several people about how cruel and heartless rouges are. He grew up believing that they were all dangerous and shouldn't be talked to unless very necessary.
His running slowed down to jogging until he was walking. Anger rolled off of him in powerful waves as he entered the little part of the territory where the group were.
Two female rouges stood just on the other side of the boarder with two male rouges right behind them. Despite the Alpha growling at them, they showed no emotion but worry and panic. The Alpha shifted and slid on some shorts before going to stand beside Shaun who just happened to be on duty.
"Alpha," he bowed. "They claim to be peaceful."
"No rouges are peaceful." Alpha Harris spat, crossing his arms as he glared at the four rouges. They were about three steps away from each other, the boarder acting as a barrier.
Rhonda sighed in frustration, "Look Harris, we're just looking for someone. We're not here to cause any problems."
"Oh trust me, I have no filthy mutts on my lands."
The four growled as the males took a step forward, only to be pushed back by Nancy. She stood in the front as she pointed her finger at the Alpha male.
"Stop acting like a little sh*t and hear us out," she growled, dropping her hand. Alpha Harris released a loud growl as he took a step forward, his Alpha within not liking the disrespect.
"It would do you well to remember the position you're in, mutt." He said lowly, glaring into Nancys eyes. But Nancy was no weak wolf. She took a step forward so they were almost chest to chest, the boarder line touching each of their toes.
"We're looking for Achilles. Is he here?" Rhonda blurted, her worry getting the best of her. She just wanted to make sure the boy was okay before Nancy started a war.
The Alpha ignored Rhonda as he continued to stare at Nancy, his Alpha within taking her staring as a challenge and not wanting to back down. When it got too much, Rhonda grabbed Nancys shoulder and pushed her back. Nancy gave out a little growl and was about to advance forward but one of the male rouges grabbed her and held her.
"How do you know Achilles?" Shaun asked, breaking the silence.
Rhonda bit her tongue. Nancy had told her that Achilles never wanted his Alpha to find out that he was associated with rouges because it would make him less trusted in the pack. But that didn't matter right now. He could be in real danger.
"That doesn't matter," Adam, one of the male rouges, said. "Just tell us whether or not he is here and we'll be on our way."
"Not until you tell us how you know him." Alpha Harris demanded, his mind only just focusing on what was being said around him.
