~2 months later~
Nathan had been training, training and learning from his 'father'. He needed to stick with this man if he wanted to save his brother. He learned a couple of things. Like what this company wanted from Desmond. Something called the apple of Eden.
He could've just left whenever, but...something told him to stay. That if he left, something would happen to Desmond. Also, he wanted to see this apple of eden. He was curious.
"Nathan. Are you alright?"
Nathan looked over to William and nodded.
"You just have to hold on a little longer."
"And if Desmond isn't alive when we get there?"
"He will be."
The brunette sighed and looked outside.
"Just to make this clear..I don't want to be part of your brotherhood or..whatever."
The older man looked at him.
"I never said you were one. Plus you aren't fit for it."Nathan rolled his eyes at the last part the old man added in.
~Desmond's pov~
Everyday he would wake up to see that stupid scientist staring down at him. It was creepy but what could he do about it? What made this place even more boring was that the doctor would make stupid long speeches.
But he was close to what he had to find. I couple of memories more and he would see what they wanted so badly.
~Three weeks later~
Altair finally found the apple of eden, giving it to the leader of the brotherhood at the time, only for he to betray him.
Here he stood looking down at the dead body of al mualim. He felt sad, but he never let feeling compromise the mission. He took the apple of eden in his hands and looked at it. As it started projecting images of a map of the world, Desmond heard Vidic saying that "they found it."
With that Desmond was taken out of the memory and he awoke.
"Go to your room Desmond." Lucy said and Desmond did as he was told. He didn't know what would happen now. Maybe they would end his life.
He stared at the one of the walls, and he saw it flash blue. He freaked out a bit but started focusing. He was using eagle vision, like Altair!
After finding out he had this talent, he regretted. Whoever had been in this room before...left messages. They looked..they looked like they were painted on the walls with blood.
~A week later~
Lucy woke Desmond up, he sat up with a yawn.
"What's wrong Lucy?"
"We need go to, now." Desmond looked at her shirt seeing that it was painted in blood.
She made him lay down in the animus and he was taken into a memory. But this time it wasn't one of Altair's memories. He watched as he saw a baby being born, then learning that this baby boy's name was Ezio.
After that, Lucy took him out of the animus and he saw someone looking down at him. He recognized this man..it was the last person he saw. Nathan.
"You okay, pal? Nathan said and all he got was a nod and a confused stare from Desmond.
"Come on guys, we need to leave." Lucy said. Nathan helped Desmond stand up and they ran to the elevator.
"What going on? Why are you here? And where are we going?"
Nathan nor Lucy responded.
Was the elevator came to a stop, they were met with guards. Nathan pushed Desmond behind his back. He was the older brother, he needed to protect his younger brother.
Taking out the guards was an easy task, and they continued moving. Opening the door with the lock (that Desmond knew how to open for some reason) and they were outside. After taking down more guards they ran to the only car in the parking lot.
Lucy opened the trunk, Nathan didn't even let Desmond question if he had to go in the trunk. With a slight push he fell in and Nathan closed it.
~Hours later, in the assassin hideout.~
"Desmond..?"
Desmond opened his eyes and looked at Nate.
"You guys drive crazy.." He said rubbing his neck and getting out of the car.
"It wasn't me driving."
"Whatever, I just want to know why you are here."
Nathan hesitated but decided that telling him that they were related from the beginning was better.
"Well..truth is..we are brothers."
Desmond's eyes widened.
"WHAT?!"
