Kalli pov

I stared into his eyes as they stared at me with nothing but hate. My eyes tearing up at the thought of his hatred towards me. I took a step towards him only to have him take an even bigger one back.

"Why...why are you like this?” I asked. "that’s a joke Kalli and you know it, you know why im here and I get what I want” he replied glaring even more at me. "What could I have possibly done?! I haven’t seen u in almost 3 months! 3 MONTHS JACK! DO YOU KNOW HOW THIS MAKES ME FEEL.....being away from you...its....not natural for mates to do this" "yea well im sick of having to abide by werewolf law, have mate, yaddy yaddy yar, I don’t want you anymore" he took a few steps so he was a few inches away from my face.

"I don’t love you anymore" he said, there was no pain, regret or loss in his voice to indicate he was lying and just like that he smirked at me before slapping me hard across the face sending me crashing to the floor. His wolf side coming out a little bit so I had three claw marks on the side of my face. They started at the top of my temple to just above my ear, those three would scar but there was a thin long one that went all the way down my cheek bone and was stinging like a bitch.

But it wont scar it’s to shallow, im fine with that. I watched from the floor as the love of my life walked away leaving me staring after him with hope in my eyes whishing that he was playing a joke or some sick thing and would come running back to me.

I was too weak to even stand so I just laid there in the dirt. my white dress spread around my body and my blonde hair splayed out around my head, my crystal clear blue eyes welling up with tears, I had no shoes on, normally never did, it helped me connect with the earth after all I did control all the elements and most matter that floats around. I found this out a few years ago with my so called 'mate'.

I learned to control them all with the help of a great teacher. She passed away a few days after I passed my final elemental test. Her last words were "I was sent to earth for a reason, now I have fulfilled it, I can be let free" and badabing badaboom she’s dead. She was really nice and always gave me good advice. Ha I wonder what she would say now in my situation.

I heard rustling and slowly got up knowing anything could be in these woods but I normally had jack with me in case anything went wrong. The shuffling was closer this time. I moved my feet fast allowing the ground to become non existent under my feet as I glided through the forest using the matter around me and wind.

I heard voices to my right but they were giggling and sounded like children. I turned and headed in that direction wondering what kids were doing in the forest.

I wasn’t apart of a pack and apparently kaka as I called her, my teacher or elements, said that there were packs all around the world, I just never got time to see their boundaries.

I glided over just behind the tree line in the shadows. I stopped gliding and dropped to the floor. I crouched down to see some women swimming in a pond and some kids playing on the grass. There weren’t many men but there were 3 or 4 among the 7 kids and 9 women.  I knew if they spotted me I was going to be dead cold wolf meat so I slowly backed away but a large rock behind me made me curse and turn around.

oopsies not a rock more like a very well....umm...defined man....glaring down at me. I yelped attracting the attention of the people by the lake. The women hopping out and grabbing their children while the men stood up looking more guarded then they did before. I quickly swiped to the right and started running. I hate to brag but I am a really good runner although this dress was heavy it didn’t slow me down at all, infact it made me look like a white light quickly dart through the darkening forest. I could hear three men’s footsteps then 2 then 1...I sighed with relief but then looked around and noticed I was in an open clearing of some sort. In front of my stood a large metal fence with guards,

I turned around and heard various sets of paws coming at me. I didn’t know what to do, I’d never met another shifter other that jacks although he was a rogue even then I didn’t see him much.

I gulped as I saw the wolves burst through the tree lines. One of them turned back to human form. “GET HER!” he shouted at the guards. I had fear in every bone in my body. I ran and jumped up onto the wall, letting wind carry me the few extra metres to get over. I then took off into another forest but I heard a commotion over the other end of the forest….right where I was heading.
