Broken wishes

Part 2

 Previously....

I gulped as I saw the wolves burst through the tree lines. One of them turned back to human form. “GET HER!” he shouted at the guards. I had fear in every bone in my body. I ran and jumped up onto the wall, letting wind carry me the few extra metres to get over. I then took off into another forest but I heard a commotion over the other end of the forest….right where I was heading.

I burst through the tree line and what do I come face to...a garden full of roses! No -.- lots and lots of wolves..Snarling, growling and not looking very happy...great....just great.

I looked behind me and saw my attackers come to a Holt basically trapping me in a circle. "YOU ARE TRESPASSING ONSPINX LAND! WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE....rogue" he said rogue dangerously as if I disgusted him. "I..I...what are you?". The guy looked shocked for a second before recomposing his scary figure and glaring at me. "You know what we are. Were like you" "well yea i'm a werewolf but i’m ...I’m...alone?" I said as if I was trying to reassure myself more than I was trying to make them not kill me.

"Ha! Well obviously rogues are lone travellers, what business do you have here" "what’s a rogue?" immediately popped out of my mouth before I could stop it. "You’re a rogue" he whispered before nodding slightly. All at once the wolves lunged jumping on me. I still hadn’t had much training and I didn’t know how to fight so I just tried pushing them away with what little strength I had. 

I heard someone faintly yelling in the distance "MARK WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!" "Alpha! I was taking care of a rogue, she was passing through our land and didn’t respond to orders." "Yea well she’s a rogue, they don’t respond to orders well do they" mystery man said sarcastically. "EVERYONE SHIFT BACK" as the order was made everyone backed away from me and went to some houses littered here and there. They came back a few seconds later with either shorts on or shorts and shirts on. 

The alpha walked over to me ignoring 'mark's' advice to stay away. I tried crawling back towards the forest but I could hardly move, there was so much blood coming out of the cuts inflicted on me. His eyes softened a bit when I tried to get away. "Please....I didn’t mean any harm" I said barely able to hold my breath long enough to speak a sentence.  He leant forward and touched my arm looking at a deep gash that was there. 

He took a deep breath of air as an electric shock ran up my arm and i’m guessing he’s been on the carpet for too long. Stupid boy. He immediately looked angry and I whimpered and winced as I moved further away from him. He growled and turned around. 

He breathed deeply then look at someone "who said to attack her" the boy looked scared shitless "beta mark, alpha" mystery guy nodded and then turned to mark "why did you attack her again?!" "she didn’t comply, she’s a rogue, we always do this" mark said completely shocked and bewildered by his alphas behaviour "Cole, what’s wrong" an elderly woman said as she and many other made their way out of the houses and to their mates or just to watch what was happening. "Nothing mum, a misunderstanding"  "hmm.." she said looking at me

Some girl gasped with wide eyes and moved towards me and I tried to get away but I just didn’t have the strength in me. She sat down next me and had a wet rag next to her. She was soothing me while she cleaned a cut on my forehead. I gasped at the coldness of the rag and immediately Cole yelled "DONT TOUCH HER!" the girl looked down at me with sad eyes "sorry alpha" she said but made no attempt to move. I moved my hand slowly along the grass and it found her knee as she knelt next to me. She moved her hand down to mine and held it close.

I don’t know why but I felt I had a connection with this girl and I could trust her. She whispered just loud enough for me to hear her "if it hurts squeeze me" I merely nodded wondering why she was being so nice to me. Eh..Who cares. I had a searing pain in my chest all of a sudden and gasped and squeezed her hand as tight as I could. Cole was next to me in a second. The girl was now trying to sooth me enough to get her hand out of my clutches. 

I needed t get out of here and quick, I didn’t know these people and I sure as hell didn’t trust any of them yet...although that chick...she’s seemed...trustable? I whispered those 6 words that would take me away...far away. well hopefully but seeing as my strength is next to nothing I wont get very far...well..ad saltus est salvator meus...which meant to the forest is my saviour in Latin. The girl’s eyes widened and she started shaking her head and saying no, Cole just stared at her confused. I knew one thing...she knew what I was about to do. Well that just means one thing.....she’s a witch as well.

Before she was able to do anything I was transported to...well actually I have no clue where I am..All that I know is there is a huge ass house right in front of me and I am in their back yard. Need to find shelter..Medical supplies ANYTHING!...fuck it, i’m going to sleep. oh but my life isn’t that easy no just as I was about to drift off into nothingness I heard a door open and I was about to open my eyes but was knocked out...by who...I haven’t got a fucking clue -.-...ha that rhymed...oh so I can hear myself when i’m knocked out now...shit...
