When my dad came to visit me, he brought flowers.
He came to let me know that he would be leaving for Australia in two days. My brother would be leaving with him. He also said that he was sorry for not visiting often, that moving had been hectic.
I'm not the one you should be apologising to, was what I wanted to say, but I didn't. I kept my mouth shut instead.
He stayed for ten minutes.
