The teacher passed back the graded tests. Ally tried to be optimistic about her grade but failed. She flipped over her test and checked the grade. 49%-F. She failed her math test...again. Without hesitation she tore the test into shreds. No need for her parents to have another reason to beat her. Just then her stomach rumbled loudly. She knew she should eat... but she felt fat. She hasn't eaten anything in 3 days but maybe an apple. The teacher began to write on the board, signaling he was beginning something new. Ally just sunk even lower in her seat. It felt like forever but the bell finally rang. Ally grabbed her things and hastily pulled her sleeves farther over her wrists. Then she walked out, smiling with fake happiness.
